The Bible God’s Word

The Bible - God’s Word

All Scripture is given by Inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished
 unto all good works.
2 Tim 3:16-17 KJV

The Bible is God’s greatest gift to mankind.
Jesus Christ is The personification of The Word.
In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God,
and The Word was God.
John 1:1 KJV

He is The Eternal Life.
And we know that The Son Of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is The true God, and Eternal Life.
1 John 5:20 KJV

His Name is “THE WORD OF GOD” (Rev 19:13).
“The Word” is “The Sword Of The Spirit” (see Eph 6:17).
And The Word was made flesh… (v.14); which is “The Word Of Life” (1 John 1:1); “The Word Of Truth”; the Gospel of our Salvation (Eph 1:13). This is “The Word of our Testimony” (Rev 12:11).
The same is “The Word of His Grace”, which builds us up and gives us an inheritance among all those who are sanctified (Acts 20:32).
Of God’s own divine Will, we are begotten as firstfruits by His Word Of Truth (Jam 1:18).
The Word is spoken—Rhema, and written—Logos.  We are clean by His spoken Word (Jn 15:3), and the perfect design of God’s Salvation towards us is recorded in the written Word.

What treasure on earth could be compared to one Word from God?
There is good reason why the Bible is the bestselling book of all-time by such a wide margin. The importance of the Bible cannot be overstated. If Jesus, who is The Word, would take His stand on the written Word when challenged by the devil, how much more must we be established on that Word to take our stand and live our lives by it?
His written Word reveals the path to Life, Salvation, Transformation, Deliverance, and Healing for every soul who would seek to know God. The universe is upheld by ‘The Word of His Power,” so there is no stronger foundation that we could ever build our lives on other than His Word.
The primary accuracy of any translation is its adherence to the original text in the original languages the Bible was written in, Hebrew and Greek.
For The Word Of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Heb 4:12 KJV

The Bible is indeed God's Word with a collection of writings revealing God's Salvation Plan for man.
The Bible—a total number of 66 Books in one, inspired by The Spirit Of God, written by over 40 authors (kings, leaders, shepherds, scientists, attorneys, an army general, a government official, historians, poets, fishermen, prophets, priests, and a physician), in three continents; over a period of 1,500 years. Each one wrote as The Spirit Of God directed them, and yet each author wrote in his own style.
These men wrote as they were moved by The Holy Spirit (2 Pet. 1:21). They wrote not in words of human wisdom but in words taught by The Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 2:13).
The Bible's Authority belongs to God.

The Scriptures were written (as far as archeologists can tell) over a period of many centuries, beginning about 1450 years before the birth of Christ, and being completed by about 100 years after the birth of Christ (dating from 1500 B.C. to about 100 A.D.)
Despite being penned by different authors over 15 centuries, the Bible does not contradict itself and does not contain any errors.  The authors all present different perspectives, but they all proclaim the same One True God, and the same One Way of Salvation—Jesus Christ (John 14:6 ; Acts 4:12 ).

The invention of the printing press in 1450 made it possible to print books in large quantities. The first book printed was the Bible. Since then, the Bible has been read by more people and printed more times than any other book in history. By 1930, over one billion Bibles had been distributed by Bible societies around the world. By 1977, Bible societies alone were printing over 200 million Bibles each year, and this doesn’t include the rest of the Bible publishing companies. No one who is interested in knowing the Truth can ignore such an important book.

The Bible comprises of 39 Books in “The Old Testament” and 27 Books in “The New Testament.” It consists of 929 chapters in “The Old Testament” and 260 chapters in “The New Testament” —in total, the Bible has 1,189 chapters, and they contain about 31,240 verses (23,145 verses in The Old Testament and 7,958 verses in the New Testament).
The Bible today has been translated into over 2,000 languages and dialects, with over 6 billion copies sold!
No other book even comes close.
The Bible is truly the Bestselling Book of all times!

“The Word Of The Lord stands forever” (1 Pet 1:25), therefore, “study to shew thyself approved unto God” (2 Tim 2:15), and “be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only” (James 1:22).

How can a young man keep his way pure?
By living according to God’s Word (Ps 119:9).

Faith comes by hearing God's Word (Rom 10:17).

"...The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, The Word Of Faith, which we preach”
Rom 10:8 b KJV

For ever, O Lord, Thy Word is settled in Heaven.
Ps 119:89 KJV

THE BOOK OF REVELATION Part 4

THE BOOK OF REVELATION
Part 4
The Revelation Of Jesus Christ
~ ~ ~
O, How wonderful the Presence of Jesus!
The Holy Spirit is “The Angel of His Presence.”
He is The Angel of Jesus’ divine Presence. He brings the Presence of the glorified Christ to us. He makes His divine Presence known to us.

Unknown to many, Revelation 1:1 talks of The Revelation of Jesus Christ; witnessed by John, and written by him through the inspiration of The Spirit. Same verse also mentions “His Angel,” which refers to The Holy Ghost—The One Who is The Spirit of Jesus Christ, Who revealed Himself to John. And gave him “The Revelation of Jesus Christ.”
Take note, what was given to John is “The Revelation of Jesus Christ.”
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto His servants things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it by His Angel unto His servant John:
Rev 1:1 KJV
Verse two reveals to us that John bore record of (1) The Word of God; (2) the Testimony of Jesus Christ, (3) and of all things that he saw.
The Holy Spirit is “One like unto The Son of Man” as we read in verse 13.

The Lord Jesus has “the appearance of a rainbow”; He has a glorious radiance around Him, that’s why John fainted when he saw Him.  He fell at the feet of Christ as dead; he was overpowered with the greatness of the lustre and Glory in which Christ appeared, though he had been so familiar with Him before. (Rev 1:17; Ezek 1:28).
Jesus laid his hand upon him, v. 17. He raised him up; He put strength into him, and spoke kind words to him—“Words of comfort and encouragement”: “Fear not,” He commanded.
He spoke to him; “Words of Instruction,” telling him particularly Who He was that thus appeared to him. And here He acquaints him, first, with “His Divine Nature: “I am The First and The Last.”
Secondly, with “His former sufferings”: “I was dead…” – his disciples saw Him upon the cross dying for the sins of the world.
Thirdly, with “His Resurrection and Life”: “I am The Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever!”  He conquered death, the grave, and hell, that we may become partakers of an endless Life.
Fourthly, with “His Office and Authority”: “…And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” By this divine office and authority, He holds the key of David—what He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open. He has sovereign dominion over the visible and invisible world, opening the gates of Heaven when He pleases, and shutting the gates of death and Hades when He pleases.
Fifthly, with “His Will and Pleasure”: “Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and which shall be hereafter.”
The sixth way Jesus acquaints John: with “‘the meaning of ‘the seven stars,’” that they are ‘God’s ministers [angels] to “the seven churches”; and of “the seven candlesticks,” that they are “the seven churches,” to whom Christ would then send by him particular and proper messages.
Jesus Christ calls forth the generations from the beginning—He is “The First and The Last,” beside Him there is no God (see Rev 1:17; Isa 41:4; 44:6; 48:12).
He is “The Living One”—“The Ever-Living One” Who holds “the keys of death and Hades” [the realm of the dead] (Rev 1:18).
John, who we see in Revelation 1:9 being a witness to “The Word Of God” and “The Testimony of Jesus,” in verse 19, received instruction from The Lord, to write down ‘the things he had seen,’ ‘what he sees at the moment,’  and what is to take place later”—these are the 3 outline of The Book Of Revelation.
Verse 20, talks about the mystery of “the seven stars” and of “the seven golden lampstands” [candlesticks] in Jesus’ right hand.
“The seven stars” are the angels [spirit-messengers] of ‘the seven churches,” they are Christ’s ministers who are under His Direction and Instruction, and have all their light and influence from Him, and are secured and preserved by Him, for their effective ministration both to “the seven churches” in the province of Asia, in John’s days; and to the churches today.
“The seven lampstands” [gold menorahs] are the seven churches [seven Messianic communities or assemblies].

The Lord Jesus oversees the churches in “the Church Ages,” and as God’s “Supervisor” and “Superintendent,” He has promised to keep (preserve) His Church, to the end of “the Church Era.” In Matthew 16:18, He declared that “the gates of hell” shall not prevail against His Church.
He fills His congregation with Light—‘His bride’ to whom He has given Life. He Loves His bride so dearly.
Today, He reveals Himself to ‘His bride’ as He is revealed in the Scripture, with glorious form; clothed with a garment down to the foot, a princely and priestly robe, denoting Righteousness and Honor, girded about with a golden girdle, the breast-plate of “The High Priest.”
His head and hairs are white like wool or snow, which indeed is a “crown of Glory.”
His eyes are as a flame of fire, piercing and penetrating into the very hearts and reins of men, scattering terrors among His adversaries.
His feet are like fine burning brass, strong and steadfast, subduing His enemies, treading them to powder.
His Voice is as the sound of many waters, of many rivers falling in together. He can and will make Himself heard to those who are afar off as well as to those who are near.
His Gospel is a profluent and mighty stream, fed by the upper springs of infinite Wisdom and Knowledge.
Out of His mouth went a two-edged sword, His Word, which both wounds and heals, strikes at evil on the right hand and on the left.
His countenance is as the sun shining, its strength too bright and dazzling for mortal eyes to behold.

Jehovah Rohi The Lord my Shepherd

NAMES OF GOD
His glorious NAMES, designated Titles and divine Office.

The English word: God is translated from the Hebrew word, Elohim—which is a noun implying more than One in unity.
One God composed of more than One divine Person.

The Name Of The Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Proverbs 18:10 KJV

Jehovah Rohi
The Lord my Shepherd
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of Righteousness for His Name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely Goodness and Mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Psalm 23KJV

The Shepherd Psalm is unique in style of writing from other Psalms. Psalm 22, 23, and 24 are familiar and beloved psalms which present Christ as The Shepherd, each one emphasizing a different aspect of His Person and His work.
Psalm 22 pictures “the Good Shepherd” dying for the sheep (John 10:11); Ps 23 “the Great Shepherd” caring for the sheep (Heb 13:20-21); and Ps 24 “the Chief Shepherd” coming for the sheep (1 Peter 5:4). In other words, Christ died for us (past), Christ lives for us (present), and Christ will come for us (future).

The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
"I am the Good Shepherd.
The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.”
John 10:11NIV

The Great Shepherd sheds His Blood for the Purpose of the eternal Covenant.
May the God of Peace, Who through the Blood of the eternal Covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that Great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing His Will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to Whom be Glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Heb 13:20-21 NIV

The Chief Shepherd will reward the saints with the crown of Glory.
And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of Glory that will never fade away.
1 Peter 5:4 NIV

He is our eternal Shepherd, His Name is Jehovah Rohi.

UNMASKING THE BEAST The Antichrist Part 11

UNMASKING THE BEAST
The Antichrist
Part 11

Things the Antichrist will Do
that will Mark his Characteristics

ELEVEN

Armed forces of the antichrist shall rise up to desecrate the temple [in the holy land] and they shall pollute the sanctuary, the [spiritual] stronghold, and shall take away the continual [daily burnt offering]. Then they will set up the abomination of desolation.

"His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.
Dan 11:31NIV

Armed forces of the antichrist shall appear [in the holy land]—that’s Israel, and they shall pollute ‘the sanctuary of strength’ (ref. KJV). He shall take away the continual daily burnt offering; shall set up in the sanctuary the abomination that astonishes [“that maketh desolate” (KJV)].
In verse16, “the antichrist” is referred to as “the invader” who will do as he pleases. It goes further to say: “…no one will be able to stand against him. He will establish himself in the Beautiful Land and will have the power to destroy it.
The “Beautiful Land” is Israel.

“The antichrist” will set himself in the temple of GOD, and declare to the world that he is God.
He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
2 Thess 2:4 NIV
This the Bible calls: “the abomination of desolation.” The climax of “the mystery of iniquity.”

Revelation 13 reveals that “the false prophet of the antichrist” will set up “the image of the beast” on his behalf, and with this he will deceive multitudes in the earth.
Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.
Rev 13:14 NIV

“The deeds of the Nicolaitans” were of persons who pretended zeal for Christ, but really opposed Him.
Pride, ambition, and worldly interest of church-pastors and church-rulers, as in Diotrephes and others, were the early working of “the mystery of iniquity,” which, by degrees, came to that prodigious height which has been visible in “the church of Rome.”
Diotrephes opposed John's ministry (see 3 John 9-11).

By flatteries [smooth words] “the antichrist” will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant. But the people who know THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY will stand their ground; they will stand firm, and resist him. They shall do exploits.
And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
Dan 11:32 KJV
