The
Five-Fold Ministry
The five-fold ministry given to the Church is
presented in Ephesians 4:11 in the order of their heavenly ranking.
And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some,
evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers…

The word “apostle” is not a title, “prophet” is not
a title; and neither are “evangelist,” “pastor” or “teacher.” Rather, they are
“gifts” to the Church; they are ‘ministry gifts.’ Verse 7 refers to them as “Christ’s
gift.”
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure
of the gift of Christ.

Yet grace (God's unmerited favor) was given to each of us
individually [not indiscriminately, but in different ways] in proportion to the
measure of Christ's [rich and bounteous] gift.

In verse 8, we see that Christ “gave gifts to men.”
Wherefore He saith, When He ascended up on high, He led
captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Jesus gives “gifts” to men—not “titles.”
“The Church” is one of the ‘major mysteries’ in the
Bible, therefore, God Almighty predetermined special gifts for the Church,
which are ‘means for unity’ of the assembly of His people. By the functioning
and harmony of these ‘ministry gifts,’ the Church reaches her ambassadorial
goal on earth for Christ.
The five-fold ministry is given “for the equipping (perfecting)
of the saints,” “for the work of ministry,” and “for edifying of the body of
Christ” (see verse 12). They are “offices” of ‘our Call of duty.’ If someone is
called to pastor a ‘local Christian assembly’ for instance; that person is
called to ‘duty’—to shepherd the sheep of Christ’s flock.
‘Duty’ is an obligation; a responsibility, a job or
task.
For example: it is parents’ duty to bring up their
children morally and in the way of The Lord. Parents are not given titles over
their children; they are assigned as legal and moral guardians over them.
We are simply called to duty!
On a parallel note, if God calls a man as a
‘prophet,’ he is called to “the prophetic office”—not given a ‘title’ by God.
The word “prophet” means “an inspired man.” Under
this simple interpretation, then, a prophet is one who gets inspiration from
God, by the spoken Word or by vision, or by any other divine manifestation, and
what he speaks under that inspiration is prophecy.
A prophet is called to speak and act as God’s
interpreter. A prophet is God’s ‘mouth piece.’
God told Jeremiah:
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou
camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet
unto the nations.

An “apostle” is a special messenger of Jesus Christ;
a person to whom He delegated authority for certain tasks.
An "apostle" is called to advocate justice
in the affairs of God's Kingdom government. Apostles are vigorous and
pioneering supporters of Christ’s cause.
According to 1 Corinthians 12:28 and Ephesians 4:11,
apostles are listed along with prophets as part of the foundation of the
household of God.
“Evangelists” are given special commission and grace
to effectively proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations. They are
called specifically to ‘the heathen’—to proclaim ‘good tidings.’ In a more narrow sense, hence this ministry
is ‘Word-based,’ they are often “Gospel writers.”
“Pastors” are called to shepherd the flock of God’s
people. They are called to lead, nourish and care for God’s people.
God does not recognize men by their “titles”—He
knows them only by their names, by their destinies, and by their works.
The hosts of Heaven, and the angelic beings, do not
recognize people on earth by their ‘titles’—they only know them by their names,
and by their ‘works.’
Also, demons in the underworld, and souls of the
wicked in hell, do not recognize anyone on the earth by ‘titles’—they only have
recognition of their ‘names,’ and their ‘deeds.’
God names people after their destinies with Him.
Abram (high father) was later called “Abraham”
(father of multitude); and Sarai was called “Sarah” (noble woman). Jacob (supplanter)
became Israel (prince with God). And, Saul (asked) a citizen of Tarsus, was
later named Paul.
But now, this is what The Lord says —
He Who created you, O Jacob,
He Who formed you, O Israel:
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

When designation is added to a name by people, it
comes with ‘the praise of men,’ so beware!
'Title,' comes only with 'merit,' but any unmerited
gift does not come with any title. When we utilize properly any gift given to
us by God, He rewards and blesses us.
It is extremely difficult to serve in humility with
a 'title' or 'rank’ at our 'Call of duty.' But "the gift of ministry"
is given for a 'high Call.'
When the Church accolades these gifts to people as
‘titles,’ it gives room for “every wind of doctrine” juxtaposed by “the
trickery of men” in “the cunning craftiness by which they lie in wait to
deceive” (read 14).
The five-fold ministry is given to the Church to
enable her “grow up in all things into Him Who is the Head—Christ” (v.15).
‘All things,’ here speaks of the entire growth of
“the body of Christ,” which comprises of:
“Equipping of
the saints,” ministration [good works], edification, and the manifestation of
“the gifts of The Spirit”—which also, she is given.
Proper application of the five-fold ministry will
bring the Church into “unity”—“the unity of the faith.” And when this is
gained, she will attain “the knowledge of The Son of God,” to the point of
becoming ‘perfect.’ Only at this point, will the Church reach the measure or
degree of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
Progressive Revelation Of God
Progressive Revelation Of God
Throughout history, God has revealed Himself
progressively to man. The bottom line is it’s safer that way. Man could not
handle a complete revelation of God in one dispensation or year or season.
To the antediluvian patriarchs, God revealed Himself
as the Father of all.
To Abraham, God revealed Himself as the Lord God
Almighty.
To Moses, God revealed Himself as the Only God in
existence.
Through Jesus Christ, God reveals Himself as The Son
Of God Who gave His life for us.
In the time of the earlier patriarchs, God had not
yet revealed in fullness that He is the Only God.
Here is what He said to Moses:
And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the
Name of God Almighty, but by My Name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
Ex 6:3 KJV
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob knew the Name of God, but
they didn’t understand Who He is to the depth that He revealed Himself to
Moses.
The Name Jehovah means “self-existent.”
The words “God Almighty” are Elohim Shaddai.
God tells Moses in the passage above that the
patriarchs didn’t understand that He is more than Elohim Shaddai—The Almighty
God. He is not just Almighty (All-Mighty); He is The Only God there is; He is
Self-Existent.
This continual progression of the Revelation of God
to man is sustained throughout the Bible, culminating in the Book of
Revelation, where God reveals Himself as the Groom being married to His
long-betrothed.

Love Of Choice
Love is
tender and affectionate. Love is passionate.
People of
old times faced a problem similar to the one we face today in that the
surrounding society was so corrupt that “love” often equaled sheer lust.
How can you
define true love?
Love is patient, love
is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

The language
in which the New Testament was originally penned has four “L-words” to express
various aspects of love.
Divine Love (agape’)
This is the
love that God Commands. It is the ‘love of choice.’
Even if
someone does not appeal to us we can still show “agape” to that person—accept
him, treat him right, and do all we can to help build up that person in the
faith (if a believer) or to win him to the faith (if not).
This divine
love “agape,” was talked about in I Corinthians 13.
In an effort
to lift the concept above the carnal connotations of love in the
seventeenth-century England, chose “charity” to represent it.
Agape’ is the
high esteem which God has for His human children and the high regard which
they, in turn, should have for Him and other people.
It is God's
unconditional Love for us that He sent His Son to die on the cross (John 3:16;
1 John 4:10).
Jesus Christ
is the personification of perfect Love. Such Love surpasses our understanding
(Eph 3:19).
The word “phileo”
means "to have ardent affection and feeling"- a type of impulsive
love.
But “agape” means
"to have esteem" or "high regard." In the memorable
conversation between Jesus and Peter, there is a play upon these two words
(John 21:15-17). Jesus asked, "Simon, do you love [esteem] Me?"
But Peter
replied, "You know that I love [have ardent affection for] You."
Then Jesus
asked, "Simon, do you love [have ardent affection for] Me?"
And Peter
responded that his love was agape’ love—a love that held Jesus in high esteem
and which was more than a fleeting feeling.
Agape’ love
indicates the nature of the Love of God toward His beloved Son (John 17:26),
toward the human race generally (John 3:16; Rom 5:8), and toward those who
believe on the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:21).
Agape’ love
conveys God's will to His children about their attitude toward one another.
Love for one another is a proof to the world of true discipleship (John
13:34-35).
Agape’ love expresses
the essential nature of God (1 John 4:8). Love can be known only from the
actions it prompts, as seen in God's Love in the gift of His Son (1 John
4:9-10). Love found its perfect expression in the Lord Jesus. Christian love is
the fruit of the Spirit of Jesus in us (Gal 5:22).
Love is like
oil to the wheels of obedience. It enables us to run the way of God's commandments
(Ps 119:32). Without God’s Love, we are nothing (1 Cor. 13:3). Such
Spirit-inspired Love never fails (1 Cor 13:8) but always flourishes.

Love of
physical attraction, valid only when it is between married couples.

have this kind of love for everyone, because our reactions to different types
of people are often beyond our control.
In Three Days I will raise it up!
“In
Three Days I will raise it up!”
A while, after Jesus drove away the merchants with a
whip of cords, from the temple in Jerusalem, the Jews demanded from Him:
“What sign do You show to us, since You do these
things?” (John 2:18).
Jesus answered and said to them,
“Destroy this temple, and in three days I
will raise it up” (v. 19).
Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty six years to
build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?”
But He was speaking of the temple of His body
(vv.20-21).
The Jews built the temple in 46 years, but Jesus was
to be raised from the dead 3 days after his crucifixion.
“Four
Six” Versus “Three”
The number 46 in God’s numerology stands for “the
Second Death.”
The number forty six is twice 23, and 23 is the
number for death—natural death.
Double of 23 is 46, therefore, all that are
victimized by the Second Death, are twice dead.
3 is the number of “Resurrection.”
In the Bible passage we read above, number 46 stood
against number 3. This means, “the Second Death” is in direct confrontation
with “the Resurrection.”
Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first
resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests
of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

Life”
28 is the number for “Eternal Life.”
The gift of God is “Eternal Life” through Christ
Jesus our Lord.
For the wages of sin is death; but the
gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The First Gentile World Power
The first Gentile World Power to oppress Israel is
Egypt. Israel was in Egypt for 430 years.
And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger
in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them
four hundred years;
And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward
shall they come out with great substance.
Gen 15:13-14 KJV
Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four
hundred and thirty years.
And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even
the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from
the land of Egypt.

In the first 30 years that Israel lived in Egypt,
when Joseph was alive, Israel was not under oppression at that time. But when
the Pharaoh who did not know Joseph came, he oppressed the children of Israel.
For 400 years the children of Israel were under the Egyptian domination in
about 1206 B.C.
The Second Gentile World Power
The next Gentile world power to dominate Israel was
Assyria, for about 200 years in 806 B.C.
Therefore, this is what the Lord, the Lord Almighty, says:
"O my people who live in Zion,
do not be afraid of the Assyrians,
who beat you with a rod
and lift up a club against you, as Egypt did.

"Israel is a scattered flock
that lions have chased away.
The first to devour him
was the king of Assyria;
the last to crush his bones
was Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon."
Therefore this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:
"I will punish the king of Babylon and his land
as I punished the king of Assyria.

The popular kings of Assyria were Shalmaneser and
Sennacherib (II Kgs 18:9, 11-13).
The Third Gentile World Power
The third Gentile world power that dominated Israel
is Babylon. They were taken captive to Babylon, where they lived for 70 years
in 606 B.C.
In Daniel chapter 2, the Lord showed Nebuchadnezzar,
the king of Babylon, the other 4 Gentile World Powers in their sequence,
starting with Babylon as the “head of gold.”
Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a
kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the
fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler
over them all. Thou art this head of gold.

The Fourth Gentile World Power
Media and Persia as “arms and chest of silver,” rose
to power, and conquered Babylon.
And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another
third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

Their leaders were Darius [the Mede] and Cyrus [the
Persian] in 536 B.C. These ‘union of two
empires’ ruled Israel for 203 years.
That very night Belshazzar, king of the Babylonians, was slain, and Darius
the Mede took over the kingdom, at the age of sixty-two.

So Daniel prospered during the reign of Darius and the reign of Cyrus the
Persian.

The two-horned ram that you saw represents the kings of Media and Persia.
The shaggy goat is the king of Greece, and the large horn between his eyes is
the first king. The four horns that replaced the one that was broken off
represent four kingdoms that will emerge from his nation but will not have the
same power.
"In the latter part of their reign, when rebels have become
completely wicked, a stern-faced king, a master of intrigue, will arise. He
will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding
devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy the mighty
men and the holy people. He will cause deceit to prosper, and he will consider
himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his
stand against the Prince of princes. Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human
power.

The Fifth Gentile World Power
Greece as “belly and thighs of bronze” emerged
swiftly as world power under the command of Alexander the Great, in 333 B.C.

The shaggy goat is the king of Greece, and the large horn between his eyes
is the first king.

The Sixth Gentile World Power
Rome as “two legs of iron” was on the world stage in
63 B.C.
Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron — for iron breaks
and smashes everything — and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush
and break all the others.

Augustus Caesar was the Roman emperor ruling most
part of the world when Jesus was born. Rome was on the world stage for about
500 years.
In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be
taken of the entire Roman world.

The Seventh Gentile World Power
Later, the imperial system of Rome suffered a
set-back. But according to Bible endtime prophecy, Rome is going to raise up in
the latter days “Fortress Europe” (a United States of Europe), otherwise known
as “Revised Rome.”
Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and
partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the
strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. As the toes were
partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly
brittle. And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will
be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.
"In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom
that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will
crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure
forever. This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain,
but not by human hands — a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the
silver and the gold to pieces.
"The great God has shown the king what will take place in the future.
The dream is true and the interpretation is trustworthy."

This was a ‘fifth kingdom’ (counting from the time
of the rise of Babylon) revealed to Daniel through Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream, as
“ten toes of partly iron with baked clay.”
By this, the Scripture prophecies the emergence of a
10 nation European confederacy from the old Roman boundaries.
They are: Germany, France, Switzerland, Portugal, Britain,
Spain, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands
In Revelation 17:5 the Bible calls this world rising
empire “Babylon the Great.”
“Mystery Babylon” will be the last Gentile World
Power.
Though, “the mystery of iniquity” had already been
at work in the world since Genesis, “Babylon the Great” will only have 7 years
to rule and reign in the earth with “the antichrist” at the helm of affairs.
Daniel Chapter Seven
In Daniel chapter 7, the Lord gave the same
progression of the world empires in form of ‘wild beasts’ beginning with
Babylon to “Babylon the Great” [the Revised Rome].
The “ten horns” of “the fourth indescribable beast”
refer to the Revised Rome; a 10 nation European confederacy that will rule the
world during the 70th Week of Daniel’s Prophecy (i.e., the last 7
years of the 490 years).
In Revelation 17:12-14, the Bible says:
And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no
kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the
beast.
These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for
he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called,
and chosen, and faithful.

The 10 kings of these ten nations are already in
setting in the world today, though it’s yet a near future event. One thing is
obvious; they will rule at the same time with “the antichrist” before “The
Second Coming Of Christ” when He, together with His saints will invade the
earth and overthrow “the beast” and his government.
The Second Coming of Christ will be God’s
intervention against the greatest distress of all time in the world—to cease
and crush “the last Gentile world power.
The Big Question
The
Big Question is when will this Last World Power be on the world stage and are
there any signs that Fortress Europe will soon become this Last World Power?
In the year 1957, a number of countries—6 in number,
namely: Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg and Netherlands from the
old Roman boundaries met in Rome to form European Economic Community (EEC)
under “the treaty of Rome.”
When EEC was established, its objective was as
follow:
· The
economic and political unification of Europe to be founded on a large, single
common market.
· A
single monetary currency.
Take a look at the table below containing the
activities of the EEC over the years, and see how the number “666” reflects in
their programme. There is no doubt that this is the organization that will
produce “the antichrist”—“the man of sin.”

Note that, in 1973, Britain, Denmark and Ireland

At this point, the prophesied "10 nation
European confederacy" symbolized by "the ten horns" in
Revelation 17 was formed.
They became the political and economic framework of
a united Europe [Fortress Europe].
In 1986, Portugal and Spain joined making them 12.
In 1995, Austria, Finland and Sweden joined making
them 15.
In 2001, Switzerland joined making them 16.
In 2004, ten more nations opted to join the EEC, and
they became a 26 nation confederacy.
God’s Word says:
This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number
of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666.

According to Jeanne Dixon, a world famous seer, “the
antichrist” was born with a “constellation of stars” in 1962; the 6th
year of the inception of EEC.
In 1987, European Economic Community (EEC)
introduced a constellation of stars as their symbol representing 12 nations
that made up the European Union as of 1986, when Portugal and Spain had joined
the confederacy.
Now, here are a three series of number 6, esoteric
with EEC programme of activities:
A total of 6 countries met to form EEC—that’s the
first 6.
“The antichrist” incarnated in a man (given birth)
in 1962—another round of 6.
And, as the years illustrated in the diagram above,
runs in ‘series of 6’ after the year of the birth of “the man of sin,” a
discovery of the sixth round terminates in 1998, the year when he clocked 36
years of age—the third round of number 6.
First round of six—1963 – 1968
Second round of six—1969 -1974
Third round of six—1975 - 1980
Fourth round of six—1981 - 1986
Fifth round of six—1987 -1992
Sixth round of six—1993 -1998
This all means that in 1998 “the antichrist”
graduated as “the man of 666” at the age of 36.
Number 36 stands for “enemy” in God’s numerology.
36 is the only number on the planet earth that
amounts to 666 when numbers 1 through 36 are added up.

When 666 is multiplied by 3 it gives 1998, the very

And so, from 1999 a higher negative-spiritual
dimension emerged in the New World Order.
The official introduction of the “Euro” by the
European Union was on the 1st of January 1999, indicating that
“Fortress Europe” [a United States of Europe] will be the premises on which
“the antichrist” will emerge to rule Europe and the world at large.
In 2002, the European Union (EU) phased out the
national currencies of all their member countries, in favor of the “Euro” as
their single official multi-national monetary currency.
In the fullness of time, “the ten horn dictators”
representing a ‘confederate Europe’ will relinquish their sovereignties to “the
antichrist,” and they will rule at the same time (a time span of 7 years), as
“the Last Gentile World Power.”
Israel will be dominated by this ‘world power,’
through pretext of “the lawless one” by way of “peace treaty” which he will
sign between Israel and her Arab neighbors. After the first 3 ½ years of the
accord, the antichrist will try to change the sacred Hebrew laws, and then, the
Jews will fall out with him, and he will persecute them.
Half of the city of Jerusalem will be taken by the
armies of “the beast” before the Second Advent of Christ.
A day of the Lord is coming when your plunder will be divided among you.
I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city
will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city
will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.
Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in
the day of battle. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east
of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west,
forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving
south. You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You
will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah.
Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

Make no mistake, a truly integrated Europe will hold
great economical and political promises, not only for itself, but for the rest
of the world—but ultimately, this will result in the greatest collapse of human
civilization of all time—triggering the greatest distress mankind had ever
known.
The antichrist will rise as a leader of the European
Union (Fortress Europe), but his main target is to rule and control all nations
of the world.
He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And
he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.

One of the greatest sign that will mark his
appearance is when he signs a 7 year peace treaty with the Jews and the Arabs.
Most people will not see on time, the implication of
the-so-called “dividends of democracy.”
Democracy will elect “the antichrist.”
He will win the allegiance of many nations through
democracy.
Remember, the Bible says:
And in the days of these kings shall the God of Heaven set up a Kingdom,
which shall never be destroyed: and the Kingdom shall not be left to other
people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it
shall stand for ever.
Dan.2:44 KJV
The saints of God shall possess the kingdom of this
world. And they shall inherit God’s Kingdom which is above.
“The Stone” that demolished the Gentile king of
Nebuchadnezzar’s dream represents the Coming Jesus Christ Who will take over
the government of this world. He is KING of kings and LORD of lords (Rev.
17:14).
The prophecy says “the dream is certain and its
interpretation is sure.”
Pray for children around the world
Pray for children around the world, and for the youths, that
God’s saving Grace will reach them.
Pray against the devices of the evil one which has been
fashioned against them.
Remain in the Vine
You
are already clean because of the Word I have spoken to you. Remain in Me, and I
will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the Vine.
Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.

The Revelation Of Jesus Christ

The church in Ephesus was commended for she
persevered and endured hardships for The Name of The LORD and did not grow
weary (see Rev.2:3).
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we
will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Gal 6:9 NIV
The right to the Tree of Life is promised to the
overcomers (Rev 2:7). This tree is arrayed on the sides of the River of Life,
in the Paradise of God bearing twelve manner of fruits every “month” with
leaves for the healing of the nations (22:2).
We will enter through the pearly gates into the
celestial City to access the Tree of Life.
In Genesis 2:9, The LORD GOD planted the Tree of
Life in the middle of the Garden of Eden.
But when man sinned and disobeyed GOD, HE said:
"The man has now become like one of US, knowing good and
evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree
of life and eat, and live forever."
Gen 3:22
So The LORD GOD banished him from the Garden of Eden
(v.23). After HE drove the man out, HE placed on the east side of the Garden of
Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to
the Tree of Life (24).
Him who died and came to life again (2:8) is the
Alpha and the Omega (the ‘A’ and the ‘Z’)—the First and the Last—"Who is,
and Who was, and Who is to come, the Almighty" (1:8).
He Who has the sharp double-edged Sword (Rev. 2:12)
is the One Who made the mouth of Isaiah a sharp sword when He commissioned him
(Isa 49:2).
He makes war with the Sword of His mouth (Rev.
2:15), and with this same “Sword”—“the Spirit of His mouth,” and with the
brightness of His Presence He will vanquish “the lawless one” (II Thess. 2:8).
A proper look at Revelation 2:17 and 3:12 reveals
that The Lord will give a white stone with a new name written in it, to His
saints who are victorious. Also, we discover that He will meritoriously write
on each one of us, the NAME of GOD ALMIGHTY and the Name of the City of GOD,
the New Jerusalem.
It doesn’t just end there, He also has promised:
I will also write on [you] My New NAME!
The church in Smyrna was encouraged to fear nothing
that they were to suffer. The Lord revealed that the devil was indeed about to
throw some of them into prison, that their faith may be tested and proved, yet they
had to dismiss their dread and fears! Even in their affliction, Jesus expected
them to be loyally faithful unto death, and His promise is: “the crown of Life.”
This “crown of Life” is promised to all who love
Jesus—His special children who serve Him faithfully.
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he
has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to
those who love Him.
James 1:12 NIV
But “the Great Multitude in white robes” that will
be killed in “the Great Tribulation” will be given white robes, as revealed in
‘the Seal of Martyrs’—the Fifth Seal (Rev. 6:9-11;7:9-17)
As of ‘the bridal saints’ of Christ who will be
whisked from the earth at Rapture, The Lord promises that by this He will keep
them safe from “the hour of trial” which is coming on the whole world to try
those who dwell upon the earth.
Since you have kept My Command to endure patiently, I will also
keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to
test those who live on the earth.
Rev 3:10 NIV
The Living Bible puts it this way:
"Because you have patiently obeyed Me despite the
persecution, therefore I will protect you from the time of Great Tribulation
and temptation, which will come upon the world
to test everyone alive.
The Rapture will be a reward for the faithful and
obedient who have guarded and kept God’s Word and held fast the Testimony of
Jesus in their lifetime.
Surely, all who overcome this world—including all
those who are victorious over “the beast” will not be hurt at all by “the
second death.”
