The Gathering Storm
A Gathering Storm of Crisis is Forming on the
International Horizon!
There’s
a tense situation in Jerusalem and in the West Bank.
Russia's
fighter jets are bombing locations in Syria.
The US
and Russia are presently holding high-level talks on Syria.
Terror
and conflicts are viral around cities of the world, intensifying, and
threatening peace and economic stability.
Nations around the world want Israel to divide their land
with the Palestinians; the UN and other international organizations plan to
internationalize Jerusalem, and make it the capital of world religion from the
Temple Mount.
Concerning the division of the land of Canaan, which the
Lord was to give to His people Israel in fulfilling His Promise to Abraham, God
gave the total and accurate description of terrain and location of each of the
portion for each tribe, with their mileage, land area and diameter measurements
with its natural features to prophet Ezekiel. The distance around the entire
city was given (its entire circumference) and God declared:
"And the name of the city from that time on will
be:
THE LORD IS THERE" (Ezekiel 48:35 NIV).
In this verse in the Jewish versions you will see
recorded:
Adonai Shamah [Adonai is there], or Jehovah Shamah [The
LORD Is There], or Yahweh Shamah [The LORD Is There].
Throughout the Scripture, we see Liberty promised to
Israel, the Lord is the Spirit of Liberty.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the
Lord is, there is Liberty (II Corinthians 3:17 AMP).
There will be total Liberty for the city of Jerusalem
when the Lord Returns [when “THE LORD IS THERE”].
The "Promised Land" given to the children of
Israel directly point to The New Jerusalem which we see in Revelation 21.
Many a time has Israel been afflicted from youth, yet the
enemy states have never prevailed.
All will be confounded and turned back that hate
Zion—they shall be turned to shame.
They have greatly oppressed me from my youth —
let Israel say —
they have greatly oppressed me from my youth,
but they have not gained the victory over me.
Plowmen have plowed my back
and made their furrows long.
But the Lord is righteous;
He has cut me free from the cords of the wicked.
May all who hate Zion
be turned back in shame.
May they be like grass on the roof,
which withers before it can grow;
with it the reaper cannot fill his hands,
nor the one who gathers fill his arms.
May those who pass by not say,
"The blessing of the Lord be upon you;
we bless you in the Name of the Lord."
Psalm 129 NIV
Right from ‘the cradle of civilization,’ God overturns,
diminishes, or even destroys the nations and empires that fight against Israel:
Egypt, the tribes of Canaan, Assyria, Babylon, Persia,
Greece, and Rome are some example.
Even when “Revised Rome” (‘the last Gentile World-Power’)
fully emerges in the near future, and rises against Israel, God Almighty will
crush it.
This is a critical hour for the Kingdom of God, and for
the nation of Israel.
In Psalm 83 is a prophecy of a confederacy against Israel,
and prayer to frustrate conspiracy against Israel.
Keep not Thou silence, O God: hold not Thy Peace, and
be not still, O God.
For, lo, Thine enemies make a tumult: and they that
hate thee have lifted up the head.
They have taken crafty counsel against Thy people, and
consulted against Thy hidden ones.
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from
being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
For they have consulted together with one consent: they
are confederate against Thee:
The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab,
and the Hagarenes;
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the
inhabitants of Tyre;
Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the
children of Lot. Selah.
Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as
to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the
earth.
Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all
their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in
possession.
O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before
the wind.
As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth
the mountains on fire;
So persecute them with Thy tempest, and make them
afraid with Thy storm.
Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek Thy
Name, O Lord.
Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let
them be put to shame, and perish:
That men may know that Thou, Whose Name alone is
JEHOVAH, art the Most High over all the earth (KJV).
In the near future, Edom (Turkey), Ishmael (Saudi Arabia),
Moab (Jordan), The Hagarites, Gebal (Lebanon), Ammon (Syria), Amalek, Philistia
(Palestine), Tyre, and Assyria will conspire and confederate against Israel.
Nonetheless, “Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall
neither slumber nor sleep.”
“The Israel of God” will break free from all manner of
captivity fashioned against it; 'like a bird out of the fowler's snare.' The
snare shall be broken, and he will escape.
The God of Israel will protect and preserve His treasured
possession.
For the Lord has chosen Jacob to be His own,
Israel to be His treasured possession (Ps 135:4 NIV).
The enemies of Israel are enemies of God Almighty.
And, God will confound His enemies!
He will deal with those who conspire against the nation
He treasures. He will punish the oppressors of Israel.
He will ‘break them with a rod of iron, and dash them in
pieces like a potter’s vessel.’
The Lord is the Defense of His people.
Help for Israel is in the Name of the Lord.
If it had not been the Lord Who was on our side, now
may Israel say;
If it had not been the Lord Who was on our side, when
men rose up against us:
Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath
was kindled against us:
Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone
over our soul:
Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
Blessed be the Lord, Who hath not given us as a prey to
their teeth.
Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the
fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
Our help is in the Name of the Lord, Who made heaven
and earth.
Ps 124 KJV
Redeem
Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
