TRUST GOD ONE DAY AT A TIME
JUST FOR TODAY – TRUST GOD ONE DAY AT A TIME
Just for today! I will begin the day by praying: “This is the
day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)
Just for today! I will say, “I can do everything through Him who
gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13)
Just for today! I will not worry about my needs, for “…my God
will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”
(Philippians 4:19)
Just for today! I will not fear, “For God did not give us a
spirit of timidity; but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline.”
(II Timothy 1:7)
Just for today! I will not harbor doubt and lack faith, for
“…without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him
must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
(Hebrews 11:6)
Just for today! I will not lack strength, for “…the Lord is the
stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalm 27:1b)
Just for today! I will not admit defeat, for God “…always leads
us in triumphal procession in Christ, …” (II Corinthians 2:14b)
Just for today! I will not lack wisdom, for, “If any of you
lacks wisdom, he should ask Cod, who gives generously to all without finding
fault, and it will be given to him.” (James 1:5)
Just for today! I will not feel condemned, for “…, there is now
no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)
Just for today! I will not be worried or frustrated: “Cast all
your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” (I Peter 5:7)
Just for today! I will not be depressed, “…for his compassion’s
never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
(Lamentations 3:22b,23)
Just for today! I will not feel alone for Jesus said, “And
surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20b)
Just for today! I will not be discontented, “…for I have learned
to be content whatever the circumstances.” (Philippians 4:llb)
Just for today! I will not feel worthless, for “God made him who
had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness
of God.” (II Corinthians 5:21)
Just for today! I will not be confused, “For God is not the
author of confusion, but of peace” (I Corinthians 14:33a KJV)
Just for today! I will not let the pressures of life bother me,
when Christ said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have
overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
Just for today! I will not feel like a failure, when “in all
these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans
8:37)
WHO THE HOLY SPIRIT IS PART 1
WHO
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS
PART 1
The Holy Spirit is a Person.
A person speaks for himself, thinks for himself and
talks for himself.
The Holy Spirit is not a new personality on the
earth; He is eternal.
He was there at the creation and at the renewal of
the earth. He was present when GOD said,
"Let Us make man in Our Image…” (Gen.1:26).
The Bible says,
And The Spirit Of God moved upon the face of the waters.
(Gen 1:2b KJV)
He is The Breath of GOD that flowed through the body
of the first man that made man a living being. And man became flesh and blood.
He is The One Who enlightened Adam and revealed the
Covenant of Blood.
He spoke to Noah.
It was He Who showed Abel that GOD established the
shedding of blood – as acceptable sacrifice; pointing to the Blood of The Lamb,
which is the only sacrifice for sin, and showed him the cross.
He is The One Who visited Abraham.
He chose Isaac and anointed Jacob.
He led Moses through the wilderness as He brought
Israel out of Egypt.
It was He Who came upon the tabernacle as a cloud
and a fire.
By His awesome Power He brought the people into “the
Promised Land”.
His Power came upon the tribes of Israel.
He is The One Who chose Judah as the tribe through
which The Messiah would come.
His Power came upon the prophets of old from Isaiah
to Malachi.
It was He that anointed John The Baptist at the
river Jordan.
It was He Who spoke to Zechariah that The Messiah
would come in his lifetime.
It was He that came to Elizabeth.
It was He that came upon Mary and anointed her as
the mother of The Son Of God.
GOD is three separate Persons.
Yet One GOD. (Not three, but One GOD).
The LORD is One.
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, The Lord is One.
Deut 6:4 NIV
In Isaiah 9:6, GOD THE FATHER is referred to as “The Everlasting Father”. GOD THE SON
is called “The Prince of Peace”. And GOD THE HOLY GHOST is introduced as “Wonderful”,
“Counsellor”.
He is “The Mighty
God”.
God made us also tripartite; spirit, soul and body.
And even our Salvation is in a trinity manner. When you became born again your
spirit was saved; your soul is being renewed every day and your body which is
presently corrupt will be saved on the Resurrection Morning.
You are a trinity!
And so is GOD!
You are a spirit, you have a soul and you live in a
body—that’s who you are!
The Holy Spirit is The LORD.
He is The Spirit Of The LORD.
He is The LORD
He is JEHOVAH!
Now The Lord is that Spirit: and where The Spirit Of The Lord
is, there is liberty.
2 Cor. 3:17 KJV
Jesus was dependent on The Holy Spirit. He offered
Himself through The Holy Spirit. Jesus knew and trusted that The Holy Spirit
will disrobe Him of His Heavenly form and give Him a form of flesh; and hence,
vindicate Him in Power. Jesus so much depended on Him.
The Son Of God Who is The Eternal Life—The Alpha And
Omega—The One Who is The Beginning And The End; Who knows the end from the
beginning, trusted and relied on The Holy Ghost.
The Son Of God became The Son Of Man that He might
bring redemption to us who were lost in sin. GOD ALMIGHTY Who fills the whole
Heaven became a man through the POWER of The Holy Ghost.
Jesus was given Wisdom by The Spirit as He grew up.
By The Spirit He came into Galilee; by The Spirit He
came to the Jordan and by The Spirit He was led into the wilderness.
'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,'
says The Lord Almighty.
Zech 4:6 NIV
It is not by might nor by Power…
It is not by information but by Revelation.
And at Jordan, The Holy Spirit said: “This is My Beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased…”
(Matt. 3:17).
The Holy Spirit is saying today:
“Go back to
your beginning!
It is
there you will find Power!
There, you
will be sustained.
There, you
will find Longevity!
There, you
will find Strength!
Jesus is your “First Love”.
The Holy Spirit came on time to over-shadow Mary and
prepare her for Jesus’ birth in order to fulfill the prophecy:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the
government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful,
Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isa 9:6 KJV
He anointed The Son Of God for ministry. No miracle
took place until The Son Of Man was anointed by The Holy Spirit. He preached
the Gospel and cast out devils by The Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is The Father of The Messiah. Angel
Gabriel called Jesus “The Son Of The Highest” (read Luke 1:32). “Unto us Jesus
is born, unto us The Son is given”.
The experience of Ananias and Sapphira makes clear
what will happen to people who disregard The Spirit.
Then Peter said, "Ananias, how is it that satan has so
filled your heart that you have lied to The Holy Spirit and have kept for
yourself some of the money you received for the land?
Didn't it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was
sold, wasn't the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a
thing? You have not lied to men but to God."
When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died. And great fear
seized all who heard what had happened. Then the young men came forward,
wrapped up his body, and carried
him out and buried him.
About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had
happened. Peter asked her, "Tell me, is this the price you and Ananias got
for the land?"
"Yes," she said, "that is the price."
Peter said to her, "How could you agree to test The Spirit
of The Lord? Look! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door,
and they will carry you out also."
At that moment she fell down at his feet and died. Then the
young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside
her husband. Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these
events.
Acts 5:3-11 NIV
Nobody grieves like The Holy Ghost.
When we sin He grieves.
When we lie He grieves.
When we speak against each other He grieves.
(Read Ephesians 4).
Sin against The Spirit is dangerous. If you don’t
understand the works of The Spirit, don’t talk about them; it is better to keep
quiet.
Pray that everything you do in your local Christian
gathering, and fellowship with Him will be in His perfect Will. Ask Him to be
in control of your meetings. Recognize and regard Him as The Boss of the
service.
When The Holy Spirit is Boss in our services and
meetings, people will begin to receive Christ as their personal Lord and
Savior, and healings will begin to take place across the auditorium. An unusual
anointing follows the preaching and teaching of GOD’s Word—with an incredible
manifestation of GOD’s divine Presence. And a greater number of people will be
saved.
In such service, the altar calls seem to be so easy.
There’s no begging or pleading. Instantly, people flock to the front for
salvation. Just as The Lord promised, The Spirit draws people to Christ. The
Holy Spirit honors the service because He is such a welcomed Guest.
If you want to know about Jesus, then you must
invite The Holy Spirit.
Daily Covenant Time With GOD
Do you desire to discover for yourself the
wonderful treasures of Heaven?
Do you wish to know the Will of God for your
life?
Do you have the hunger to know Jesus more and
more, personally?
If your answer is yes to all these, then, begin
a covenant time with The LORD today!
The Distinct Personality Of The Holy Spirit
The
Distinct Personality Of The Holy Spirit
The Holy
Spirit is not just a Person, He is God. Coequal with The Father and The Son. The
Holy Ghost is perfect, powerful, and glorious.
The Holy
Spirit is a Member of the Trinity and yet is a different Personality from The
Father and The Son.
The Lord
Jesus predicted what would happen to you when you made a place for The Spirit.
He said,
Whoever believes in Me,
as the Scripture has said, Streams of Living Water will flow from within
him."
John 7:38-39 NIV
Have you
made room for The Holy Spirit?
All He asks
is a place in your heart.
God has a
detailed Master Plan for your life.
Members of
The Godhead are distinct Persons—yet They are One. But when it comes to our
personal relationship and communication with “GOD,” and understanding of The
Father, Son, and Spirit is essential. Anytime you see God working, you see Him
as One GOD. But if you truly know The LORD, you see some distinction in the way
The Three Persons Of The Godhead think and in the way They act.
For example,
when the Jewish people under the Old Covenant at different times, willfully and
knowingly sinned in The Presence of The Father, do you recall what happened?
The
Scripture records that they were either punished or slain.
But, Christ
The Son dealt differently with those who knowingly and willfully sinned.
Consider the case of the Pharisees. Did Christ kill them?
No! He
rebuked them.
Don’t
misunderstand this. God The Father did forgive, but He also killed, destroyed
or punished those who refused to stop rebelling against Him. God The Son,
however, responded in another manner.
You ask,
“But what about The Holy Ghost?”
What is His response to a person who
knowingly, deliberately sins?”
He reacts
differently from even The Father and The Son. The Spirit does not remove them
or rebuke them—He convicts them and withdraws His Presence.
The Holy
Spirit withdraws The Power Of His Presence when the Church sins against Him.
The Word
makes it clear that there are differences or diversities of administration in
the Godhead, yet they are One.
But to each one is
given the manifestation of the Spirit
for the common good.
1 Cor. 12:7 NASU
The
manifestation of The Holy Spirit in us is the evidence, the spiritual
illumination of GOD’s Spirit for the growth and nourishment of The Body Of
Christ.
The Father
is The Operator.
Jesus is The
Administrator.
The Spirit
is The Manifest.
The primary
work of The Father is that He operates. And The Son administrates the operation
of The Father. And The Holy Ghost manifests the administration of that
operation.
The Father
is The Source of everything that we request from GOD. But The Giver is The Son.
And The Power of the Source is The Holy Spirit.
It is The
Spirit that completes the process of your healing, deliverance, restoration,
miracle et cetera.
Anointed with The Oil Of Gladness
The Saviour was "a man of sorrows," but every thoughtful mind has discovered the fact that down deep in His innermost soul He carried an inexhaustible treasury of refined and Heavenly Joy. Of all the human race, there was never a man who had a deeper, purer, or more abiding peace than our Lord Jesus Christ.
"He was anointed with the Oil Of Gladness above His fellows."
At this hour the church expects to walk in sympathy with her Lord along a thorny road; through much tribulation she is forcing her way to the crown. To bear the Cross is her office, and to be scorned and counted an alien by her mother's children is her lot; and yet the Church has a deep well of joy, of which none can drink but her own children. There are stores of wine, and oil, and corn, hidden in the midst of our Jerusalem, upon which the saints of God are evermore sustained and nurtured; and sometimes, as in our Saviour's case, we have our seasons of intense delight, for "There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the City of our God."
We rejoice in our King; yea, in Him we exceedingly rejoice, while in His Name we set up our banners.
Kingdom Come
LORD,
Breathe on me Your “Resurrection
Breadth”.
Send down Your
Spirit
Like the wind that brings Your rain.
Send “the Rain of
Heaven”
“The Flood of Your Glory”.
Till Your Rain
becomes a Flood
and the Knowledge of Your Glory fills the
Earth.
Let Your Kingdom
Come
Let Your Will be
done
on Earth as it is in Heaven…
The Most Important Covenant Of All
The Most Important Covenant Of All
The most important covenant of all is the one God
made to you through
His Son Jesus Christ when He brought up our Lord
Jesus from the dead through the blood of the everlasting Covenant.
May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal
covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the
sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us
what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and
ever. Amen.
Heb 13:20-21 NIV
The Holy Spirit enters your life as the result of
this eternal Covenant God made with you regarding your salvation.
It is precious beyond all preciousness to stand at
the altar of our Good Shepherd to see Him bleeding there as the slain Holy Lamb
of GOD, and then to hear His Blood speaking Peace to all His flock, Peace in
our conscience, Peace between Jew and Gentile, Peace between man and his
offended Maker, Peace all down the ages of eternity for Blood-washed men.
Thou
Great Keeper of the sheep, we the people of Thy pasture bless Thee with our
whole hearts even as we see Thee slain for us.
Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
Read the Bible and devout yourself to prayer and
worship of The True GOD, daily.
Your life will never be the same; you'll have a very
happy life while on this earth and live forever with Jesus in Heaven.
GOD bless you.
LORD Anoint Me!
LORD,
Anoint my heart for worship.
Anoint my mind for meditation.
Anoint my head for protection.
Anoint my eyes for revelation.
Anoint my lips for praise.
Anoint my hands for prosperity.
Anoint my feet for good tidings.
The Woman Who Fears The Lord
Women should be in submission first, to The Lord,
then to their husbands and to authorities both in the Church and in the civil
society as the Law says (1 Cor. 14:34).
"Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so
that, if any of them do not believe the Word, they may be won over without
words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of
your lives. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided
hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner
self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth
in God's sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their
hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. They were submissive to their
own husbands, like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are
her daughters if you do what is right
and do not give way to fear."
1 Peter 3:1-6 NIV
Women, like the men should reference and worship God
wholeheartedly in the home, in the Church and everywhere. They are as well
expected to be of good service to their husbands and to the Church of Christ.
The Christian woman should be a virtuous woman—"a
wife of noble character".
She should serve and honor The Lord faithfully.
She should be prayerful.
She should be submissive and faithful to her
husband.
She should be positive in thought, speech and
character.
She should speak with wisdom.
She should be hard working and wise in management in
every sphere of life.
She should be profitable to her home, to her local
Christian assembly and to the society as a whole.
She should be respectful to everyone.
She should extend her hands to the needy, as this is
a service to The Lord.
A woman's good service to her husband and family is
also a service to The Lord (Proverbs 31:10-31).
She should continue in faith, love and holiness with
propriety.
A woman who is an overseer or deacon in the Church
should be trustworthy in statement, gentle, peaceable, above reproach, free
from the love of money, the wife of one husband, temperate, prudent,
respectful, hospitable, teachable and able to teach.
She must also have a good reputation with those
outside the Church so that she will not fall into temptation.
A woman of true godly value should not be a
gossiper, or a talkative.
She must manage her children and household well.
A woman who fears and honors The Lord is clothed
with strength and dignity.
"Many women do noble things,
but you surpass them all."
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears The Lord is to be praised.
Give her the reward she has earned,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
Proverbs 31:29-31 NIV
The Personality Of The Holy Spirit
The
Personality Of The Holy Spirit
The
Holy Spirit has a Personality, and I want to share Him with you.
Let’s
take for instance, what makes a man a person?
Is
it his physical body? I think not. I’m sure you have been to a funeral and have
seen a body lying in a casket. Are you looking at a person? No! You are looking
at a dead body. What makes a person is not the body. Instead, the person is
what comes out of the body. Emotions, will, intellect, feelings—these are just
a few of the characteristics that make you a person and give you a personality.
Beyond
salvation, beyond being baptized in water, beyond the infilling of The Spirit,
The "Third Person Of The Trinity" is waiting for you to meet Him
personally. He yearns for a lifelong relationship.
For
instance; if you had dialed my telephone number two years ago and we got
acquainted by phone and if we had continued our conversations but had never
met, what would you really know about me?
You
would know the sound of my voice as it comes through the phone. But, you
wouldn’t recognize me if you saw me on the street.
But
then, the day comes when we meet face to face. All of a sudden you reach out to
shake my hand. You see what I look like, the color of my hair and eyes, what
kind of clothes I wear. Perhaps we go out for a meal, and you learn whether I
like coffee or tea.
You
learn volumes about people when you meet them in person.
Who is The
Holy Spirit?
I
want you to know He is the most beautiful, most precious, loveliest Person on
the earth.
GOD’s
WORD is Spirit and Life. His WORD is Truth.
The
Holy Spirit is this Spirit and He is The Spirit Of Truth.
The
Bible was written by The Holy Spirit. He used men from all walks of life, but
every one of them was led by The Spirit.
The
Holy Spirit is REAL!
The
Holy Spirit is not only real, but He has a personality.
But
exactly Who is The Holy Spirit?
THE
HOLY SPIRIT is The Spirit Of GOD THE FATHER and The Spirit Of GOD THE SON.
He
is The POWER of The GodHead, The POWER of The Trinity.
Who is on
the earth presently?
GOD
The Holy Spirit. For GOD The Father came to do His work through The Son Who was
resurrected, and ascended into Heaven.
GOD
The Son is not on the earth. GOD The Father is not on the earth. They are both
in Heaven this very second.
When
GOD The Son departed, GOD The Holy Spirit came, and He is still here with GOD’s
people doing His work.
Think
about it. When GOD The Son left, He would not even take John and Peter with
Him. He said, “Little children, I shall be with you
a little while longer. You will seek Me; and as I said to the Jews, where I am
going, you cannot come…” (John 13:33).
Today,
The Holy Spirit is resident in the sons of GOD on the earth.
But
when GOD The Holy Spirit leaves this world, which will happen very soon, He’s
going to take the redeemed of The LORD with Him to meet The LORD in the air.
What is His
job?
The
task of The Spirit is to bring into fruition the perfect Will of The Father and
The perfect work of The Son.
To
understand the task of The Holy Spirit we need to understand the work of The
Father and The Son.
GOD
The Father is The One Who gives The Command, He has always been The One Who
says,
“Let there be…”
“Let Us make…”
On
the other hand, it is GOD The Son Who performs the Commands of The Father. When
GOD The Father said,
“Let there be light”
GOD
The Son came and performed it. Then, GOD The Holy Spirit brought the light.
Let
me illustrate it this way. If I asked you, “please turn on the light,” three
forces would be involved:
First,
I would be the one who gave the command.
Second,
you would be the one who walks to the switch and flip it. In other words, you
are the performer of the command.
But
finally, who brings on the light?
It
is not me, and neither is it you.
It
is the power—the electricity that produces light.
The
Holy Spirit is The POWER Of GOD. He is The POWER of The Father and of The Son.
He is The One Who brings into action the performance of The Son. Yet He is a
Person. He has emotions, which are expressed in a way unique among The Trinity.
You cannot be in touch with The Father and The Son without The Holy Spirit (Ephesians
2:18).
The
Holy Spirit says, “I am The One Who fellowships with you”.
The Grace of The Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and the
Communion of The Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
2 Cor. 13:14 KJV
May the Grace of The Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and
the
Fellowship of The Holy Spirit be with you all.
NIV
The
Holy Spirit is The One Who communes, Who fellowships with me. He is present to
help me pray to The Father and to The Son.
The
Holy Spirit is The only Teacher of the Bible.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom
teacheth, but which The Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with
spiritual.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of The Spirit Of
God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they
are spiritually discerned.
1 Cor 2:13-14 KJV
The
Words of The Holy Spirit expresses spiritual Truths in spiritual Words. They
are spiritually discerned. And these Words, He teaches us.
When
you make The Holy Spirit your Teacher, He makes The Word of Scripture come
alive to you in living colors.
When
you give Him full access to your life, your prayer life changes completely. You
become familiar with His Voice. You recognize it. You respond to it. And the
more you fellowship with Him, the deeper the relationship becomes.
The
Holy Spirit is gentle yet powerful.
He
stays close to those who love Him.
A
person who knows the Presence of The Holy Spirit will always glorify and
magnify Jesus. Every action of your life reflects what you fill your life with.
If you fill your life with newspapers, you will speak news. If you watch soap
operas, you will speak soap operas. But, if you are filled with The Spirit and
you absorb yourself in His Presence, you will seek Jesus and glorify no one but
Jesus.
If
God The Father and God The Son demonstrated their Love for The Holy Spirit, how
can we do less?
GOD
Loved Him so much that He chastised the children of Israel for their
disobedience:
But they rebelled, and vexed His Holy Spirit: therefore He was
turned to be their enemy, and He fought against them.
Isa. 63:10 KJV
Our Welcomed Guest
When we make The Holy
Spirit The Boss in our Christian meetings, He honors the service because He is such a welcomed Guest.
Revelations of Heaven and Hell by 7 Columbian Youths
Revelations of
Heaven and Hell by 7 Columbian Youths
Presented by The
international ministry "Light for the Nations".
Together as a group, these 7
Columbian youths were taken by Jesus Christ and shown Heaven and Hell. Hear
their account of the Glories of Heaven and misery of Hell.
The Bible, the word of God, is very clear about the
subject of heaven and hell. In this portion that we have just read, the Lord
tells us about two places: Heaven and Hell, the condemnation or the salvation.
There is no intermediate place. Purgatory does not exist. Limbo does not exist,
where men exist for a while after they have departed from the Earth and then go
to heaven; the Bible is very clear about that.
(April 11th 1995)
“God gave us a revelation that would change the trajectory of
our lives. We had just begun to know about God and His Word. We are seven youth
to whom God has given the privilege and great responsibility of sharing this
revelation with the world.”
"My little children,
don't be afraid, I am Jesus of Nazareth, and I have visited you to show you a
mystery so you can show and tell to towns, nations, cities, churches, and all
places. Where I tell you to
go, you will go, and where I tell
you not to go, you will not go."
The Holy
Bible, The Word of God, says in Joel 2:28 "It
shall come to pass after this that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh,
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams,
and your young men shall see visions." These are the times that God
is preparing for everyone.
Today you
have the great opportunity to change your eternal destiny. Jesus is still
available now, and the Bible says that while we have life we also have hope.
Today you have life, don't miss this opportunity, it can be the last one.

I AM
“I AM”
The Bible tells us that The GodHead-Father, Son and The
Holy Spirit is self-existent.
God The Holy Spirit can
be referred to as “I Am”, just like God The Father and God The Son.
When you have encounter
with The Holy Spirit, you will experience a growing reality of His Presence.
Every Scripture, every encounter, and every revelation
makes our walk in The Spirit more complete.
The Holy Spirit is so real He can be resisted. Many
people think He is wind. But He isn’t. that’s just another in a long list of
descriptive symbols used to communicate The Spirit-oil, water, dove, cloud,
light, and so on. It certainly doesn’t mean that He looks like His symbols.
Wind is invisible to the eyes, but you cannot resist it.
The word: resist means to oppose. People do actually oppose The Holy Ghost-they
stop Him from working. Stephen in his speech to the Sanhendrin, quoted Moses
saying: “You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always
resist The Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you” (Acts.7:51).
The words grief and grieved in the original Greek is
“loopa”. Here is what it means: to feel pain in body and mind. It means to
suffer mental and physical anguish.
The Holy Spirit is a Person, or Paul would not have said,
“Do not grieve The Holy Spirit” (Eph.4:30). He grieves and that goes much
deeper.
Not only that, but The Holy Spirit can be quenched. The
word means to put out. Paul warned the Church at Thessalonica “Do not quench
The Spirit” (I Thess. 5:19). You cannot quench the wind, but you can stop a person.
Many Christians do not realize that The Holy Spirit can
be vexed. Isaiah talked about the Lovingkindness of The Lord and His Mercy
toward Israel: “But they rebelled, and vexed His Holy Spirit; therefore He was
turned to be their enemy, and He fought against them” (Isa. 63:10 KJV).
The Resurrection Of The Just & The Unjust
The Resurrection Of The
Just
&
The Unjust
The Rapture of the Church, the raising of all fallen
asleep in The Lord, and all the saints that come out of the Great Tribulation,
including God's two witnesses who were killed in Revelation 11, until The Second
Coming Of Christ— all form part of what the Bible calls the First Resurrection.
Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some
to Everlasting Life,
others to shame and everlasting contempt.
Dan 12:2 NIV
And thou shalt be blessed;
for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at
the resurrection of the just.
Luke 14:14 KJV
And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world
marry, and are given in marriage:
But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and
the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels;
and are the children of God, being the children of the Resurrection.
Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he
calleth The Lord The God of Abraham, and The God of Isaac, and The God of
Jacob.
For He is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live
unto Him.
Luke 20:34-38 KJV
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that
are in the graves shall hear His Voice,
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the
resurrection of Life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of
damnation.
John 5:28-29 KJV
And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that
there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
Acts 24:15 KJV
Women received their dead
raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that
they might obtain a better Resurrection:
Heb 11:35 KJV
And I will give Power unto My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy
a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing
before The God of the earth.
And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth,
and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this
manner be killed.
These have Power to shut
heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have Power over
waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often
as they will.
And when they shall have finished their Testimony, the beast that
ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall
overcome them,
and kill them.
And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city,
which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall
see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead
bodies to be put in graves.
And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make
merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets
tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
And after three days and an
half The Spirit Of Life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their
feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
And they heard a great Voice from Heaven saying unto them, Come up hither.
And they ascended up to Heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
Rev 11:3-12 KJV
A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If
anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead
or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been
poured full strength into the cup of His wrath. He will be tormented with
burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the
smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night
for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the
mark of his name." This calls for patient endurance on the part of the
saints who obey God's Commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.
Then I heard a Voice from
Heaven say, "Write: Blessed are the dead who die in The Lord from now
on."
Rev 14:9-13 NIV
I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given
authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because
of their Testimony for Jesus and because of The Word of God. They had not
worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their
foreheads or their hands. They came to Life and reigned with Christ a thousand
years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were
ended.) This is the First Resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who have
part in the First Resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but
they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him
for a thousand years.
Rev 20:4-6 NIV
Rapture will be the
ultimate experience for all those who know Jesus. You must be ready, because
The Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him (Matt 24:44).
