      JehovahShalom
       The Lord my Peace

And the Angel of God said unto him, Take the flesh and the unleavened cakes, and lay them upon this rock, and pour out the broth. And he did so.
Then the Angel of the Lord put forth the end of the staff that was in His hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the Angel of the Lord departed out of his sight.
And when Gideon perceived that He was an Angel of the Lord, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord God! for because I have seen an Angel of the Lord face to face.
And the Lord said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.
Then Gideon built an altar there unto the Lord, and called it Jehovah-Shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah
of the Abi-ezrites.
Judges 6:20-24 KJV

This phrase means "The-LORD-Is-Peace," named after the altar built by Gideon for The Lord in Ophrah.
The Angel of the LORD came and sat under the terebinth tree in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from the Midianites (v.11).
The Angel of the LORD appeared to him and called him—“mighty man of valor” v.12.  Like Joshua (Josh.1:5), Gideon was raised by GOD to be mighty and fight in the LORD’s battle.
But, in response, Gideon said:
“…Oh my Lord, if the Lord be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all His miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt? but now the Lord hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites” v.13

And in verse 14, The LORD said to him, “Go in this might of yours.”
"But Lord," Gideon asked, "how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family" (v.15).  This complain is similar to the one Saul made in First Samuel 9:21.
And the Lord said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man (v.16)
“…and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man”—this phrase was a sign from the Lord to Gideon.
Yet, Gideon asked for a sign, “…If now I have found grace in Thy sight, then shew me a sign that Thou talkest with me” (v.17).
He went further to say, “please do not go away until I come back and bring my offering and set it before You" [next verse].
And the Lord said, "I will wait until you return."

The LORD demonstrated a greater sign before Gideon in verses 20-21, as He did before Manoah and his wife, who saw Him ascend with the flame from the altar (see Judges 13:19-21).
Gideon truly found Grace and Favor in GOD’s sight.
The Angel of God said to him, "Take the meat and the unleavened bread, place them on this rock, and pour out the broth." And Gideon did so. With the tip of the staff that was in His hand, the Angel of the Lord touched the meat and the unleavened bread. Fire flared from the rock, consuming the meat and the bread. And the Angel of the Lord disappeared.
NIV

Gideon saw the Angel of the LORD face to face; the Might and Unction of GOD’s Spirit rested upon him. By faith he conquered the Midianites, administered justice, and gained what was promised (Heb 11:32-33). He built an altar for The LORD and called it: “JEHOVAH SHALOM” [The-LORD-Shalom].

At the night of the same day, the Lord gave a Command to Gideon; though he was afraid of his father’s household, and the men of the city, he still carried-them-out [read verses 25-27].

Adonai-Shalom is the One Who defeated the Midianites [Judges 7]—The GOD of Peace Who will soon crush satan underneath your feet (Romans 16:20).
