The Presentation of Jesus Christ in the 66 Books of the Bible - Part 28

In Micah He is “The Messenger of Good Tidings.”
Micah 5:2 is one of the clearest prophecies in the Old Testament.
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall He come forth unto Me that is to be Ruler in Israel; Whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting (KJV).
This prophecy about the birthplace and reign of the Messiah was made seven hundred years before His birth. The chief priests and scribes paraphrased this verse in Matthew 2:5-6 when questioned about the birthplace of the Messiah.

The passage in Micah 5 goes on to inform us, continuing in verse 4 that, the Messenger of Good Tidings will stand and shepherd His flock in the Strength of the Lord in the Majesty of the Name of the Lord.
This will take place at the Coming of the Messiah; then His remnant will prosper. He will be their Peace.
The Holy Spirit anointed Jesus Christ for His ministry as “the Messenger of Good Tidings.”
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with Power: Who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.
