3 Keys Into God's Presence

3 Keys Into God's Presence
Thanksgiving, praise and worship are the three keys into God’s Presence.
O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our Salvation.
Let us come before His Presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms.
Ps 95:1-2 KJV
You cannot enter the realm of worship until you learn to praise God.
You cannot praise Him until you learn to give Him thanksgiving.

Why do we give thanksgiving to God?
We thank Him for what He does for us.

Why do we praise Him?
We praise Him for His acts of greatness.
For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
In His hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is His also.
The sea is His, and He made it: and His hands formed the dry land.
Ps 95:3-5 KJV

Why do we worship God?
We worship Him for His Holiness.
Worship is connected to Who God is—His Divine Nature.

We enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. But, worship is ‘the ultimate key’ into God's Presence.
Praise comprises of "joyful noise."
Thanksgiving comprises of "joyful noise."
"For the Lord is a great God, and a great King..."
But, in worship we reverence and honor God.
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our Maker (6 KJV)
We worship Him for He is our God and we are the sheep of His pasture.
In thanksgiving you may not hear His Voice; in praise you may not hear His Voice, but in worship we hear the Voice of God.
For He is our God; and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. To day if ye will hear His Voice,
Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
When your fathers tempted Me, proved Me, and saw My work (vv.7-9 KJV)
Forty whole years, the people of Israel did not worship God. And so He said:
“Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known My ways:
(10 KJV)
They ‘did err in their heart’ because they did not hear His Voice.
They ‘had not known His ways’ because they did not worship.
God’s Word in Jeremiah 7:23 says:
“But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey My Voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be My people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you (KJV).
Because the people failed to worship the Lord in Spirit and Truth, they could not enter His Rest.
Unto whom I sware in My Wrath that they should not enter into My Rest (11 KJV).
Hebrews 4:3 says, “For we which have believed do enter into Rest…” (KJV).
Verse 9 says, “There remaineth therefore a Rest to the people of God (KJV).
We enter into God's Rest not by works, but through worship.
For he that is entered into His Rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His (v.10 KJV)

The Lord Jesus said in John 10:27, “My sheep hear My Voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: (KJV)
