The Redemption of Our Bodies

The Redemption of Our Bodies
OUR SALVATION IS TRIPARTITE.
OUR SALVATION IS AFTER THE PATTERN OF TRINITY!
The spirit of every child of GOD is already saved; the soul is being saved daily; and our bodies will be saved on “the glorious morning”—at Rapture.

The mind is to be renewed daily with GOD’s WORD.

Our mortal bodies will be transformed into a divine glorious body at the Rapture, by the Spirit of GOD.
But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you (Romans 8:11 KJV).
No wonder Romans 12:1 says to us:
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service” (KJV).
In this verse, Paul was speaking of our physical (mortal) bodies.
The word ‘mortal’ refers to: a living thing which is subject to death.
Our bodies are to be presented unto GOD daily, as living sacrifices. This is a ‘spiritual act of worship’—a reasonable service.
This on our part should be a dedicated service; which means it is a daily requirement by GOD from us.
So, the message in this verse is clear:
  Offer your bodies to GOD!
This is pleasing and acceptable to GOD.

Presently, the glorified saints in Heaven, who already are asleep in the LORD, all eagerly await the transformation of their mortal bodies which they left on earth at the time of their physical death.
Their physical bodies died and decayed when they left this natural world, but their spirit and soul exited this ephemeral realm.
Though their corruptible flesh are dead, decayed and turned to dust here on Earth, they believe in GOD’s Word and hope on His promises as they await joyfully and expectantly for redemption of their bodies, on that great Day of Rapture, along with those of their brethren who are still naturally alive in the LORD.

These glorified saints who are now in Heaven, all are spirits eagerly awaiting for the adoption; the redemption of their bodies—even as we who are alive on the earth await too.
Their spirits have been glorified.
And, their souls have been glorified.
But, their bodies are to be redeemed from the earth at the Rapture! There natural bodies which they lived with on the earth—which now is decayed—shall be changed.
We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies (8:22-23 NIV).
In this hope we were saved (see verse 24).
We have the firstfruits of the Spirit and await our adoption as sons of GOD. By this, GOD will bring us up as His sons and we will have the redemption of our bodies because:
“…those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many brothers. And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified” (vv.29-30 NIV).

When the saints come to take over rule of the Earth in the Millennium, with the LORD as “the Captain of the Hosts,” they shall all appear in bodily forms; not as spirits, but as whole and perfect new creation of GOD’s image—with spirits, souls, and bodies transformed!

Hallelujah!

When Jesus appeared to His disciples shortly after His resurrection He made this statement:
“Look at My hands and My feet. It is I Myself! Touch Me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have" (Luke 24:39 NIV).
He appeared to them in a bodily form—with flesh and bones; touchable and visible, not as a ghost.
Thus, we shall be like Him, in bodily form, visible and touchable—with spirit, soul and new body, everyone clothed with Power from on high to do exploit!

Take a look at the next following verses:
When He had said this, He showed them His hands and feet. And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, He asked them, "Do you have anything here to eat?"  They gave Him a piece of broiled fish, and He took it and ate it in their presence (Luke 24:40-43 NIV).
With this new body which substitutes our corruptible body, by transformation, we can eat natural foods and as well, we can eat heavenly diets.
Clothed with our celestial bodies, we can pass through walls, walk over the seas and oceans, and take flight like eagle, into the sky and beyond. What a marvelous experience we shall have with the LORD eternally!

Prophet Elijah taken from the earth by way of the whirlwind, by chariot of fire, is biblically and historically GOD’s proof of the Rapture.
As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to Heaven in a whirlwind. Elisha saw this and cried out, "My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!" And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them apart.
