In Ephesians He is “GOD’s Unsearchable Riches.”
In Ephesians we see the incomparable riches of
Jesus.
Anyone born of God is a type of Christ, for we are
blessed with “all spiritual blessings in Heavenly Places in Christ” Who is
“God’s Unsearchable Riches.”
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who hath
blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Heavenly Places in Christ.
Eph. 1:3 KJV
We were chosen in Him before the foundation of the
world (v.4). In accordance with the Father’s Will, we are predestined to be adopted
as sons of God through Jesus Christ (v.5).
God’s glorious Grace has been freely given to us in
the Beloved—namely Christ (v.6).
Our Redemption is through His precious Blood.
In Whom we have Redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of
sins, according to the riches of His Grace; Wherein He hath abounded toward us
in all Wisdom and Prudence; (vv. 7-8 KJV)
He made known to us the Mystery of His Will
according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself (v.9). In Him we have obtained an inheritance
(v.11). Our hope is in Him; for we have been appointed to live for the praise
of His Glory (v.12).
We are sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of Promise
(v.13); by Whom we were quickened [raised to Life] together with Christ (2:5),
and taken-up in Glory with Him, and jointly-seated with Him in Heavenly Places
(2:6).
We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to
do good works, which He prepared in advance for us to do (2:10). We are made in
His own image, brought near by His Blood (2:13).
In Him we are framed like a building; joined
together to become a holy temple in the Lord (2:21). Through the Gospel of
Jesus Christ the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of
one Body, and sharers together in the Promise in Christ Jesus. We are jointly
partakers of the Promise in Christ (3:6).
We are given access through faith in Him (3:12).
