Step
Into A Deeper Dimension
Benny Hinn
In
preparation for what lies ahead, God is calling us to a life of powerful,
anointed prayer. Yet that is not the sum total of our calling. He is also
raising us up to be used mightily to reach a lost and dying world.
He is saying
to us, “I want to bring you into revelation. I want to bring you into vision.
I’m going to bring you into knowledge.”
I’ve learned
through the years that our spiritual hunger is an absolute requirement for us
to be all that God desires for us to be. More to the point, spiritual hunger
always precedes personal revival.
So to be
prepared for what we are called to do, we must be willing to go deeper with
Him—to enter a deeper dimension.
Divine Dimensions
What the
Lord has prepared for those who love Him is beyond human comprehension. It
cannot be seen with the eye or heard with the ear. We are told, “God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the
Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God” (1 Corinthians 2:10).
Seven Deeper Dimensions
Here are
seven deeper dimensions that can be yours as you seek to be used by the Lord.
1. Desire
Your first
step in approaching God needs to be, “Lord, give me the desire to pray.”
Suddenly, you move from the natural to the supernatural. Things begin to happen
inside as your heart is prepared by the Holy Spirit for greater service.
Spiritual hunger always precedes personal revival.
To move to a
deeper dimension of calling and service, we must say with the psalmist, “Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is
not hid from thee” (Psalm 38:9).
2. Diligence
Begin by
making a commitment to God that allows no turning back. When the process begins
you may have to tell yourself, “I’m going to seek Him whether I feel like it or
not.”
Then, as the
days turn into months, prayer and service becomes as natural and necessary as
eating your meals. Without knowing when it happened, your diligence has
transformed your life.
Proverbs
8:17 becomes real: “I love them that love me; and
those that seek me early [diligently], shall find me.”
3. Truth
The
searchlight of heaven sees through every pretense.
Jesus
declared:
The
hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in
Spirit and in truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is Spirit:
and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. (John
4:23-24)
If you want
to experience closeness to God, and if you want to serve Him effectively, allow
honesty to rule your heart. “The Lord is nigh unto
all that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth” (Psalm 145:18).
4. Communication
As you seek
more of the Father, you can be sure that He desires to pour Himself, through
the Holy Spirit, into your life to a greater degree. He desires fellowship with
you. This allows you to speak directly to the Father.
We see many
instances in the Bible where people cherished this private communication with
the Father. Abraham, Enoch, Jesus, and the apostle Paul are examples that
quickly come to mind. And this intimate communion with God should be every
believer’s desire, especially as each of us seeks a strengthened measure of
calling and service.
5. Discipleship
My encounter
with the Holy Spirit in 1973, after attending a Kathryn Kuhlman meeting in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was the beginning of God’s discipleship program for
my life. Hour after hour, day after day, I prayed with my Bible open as the
Spirit unveiled the truths of God’s Word. The Holy Spirit promised to be my
Counselor and Guide, and He has never, ever disappointed me.
Now, 44
years later, I know more than ever that discipleship requires discipline in every
area of my life.
The
Scripture shows us that after Pentecost, those whom the Spirit had called
continued “daily with one accord in the temple”
(Acts 2:46). They were praying and studying the Word together.
And today,
as then, discipleship—seeking, serving, and obeying God diligently—should
infect every area of our lives.
6. Freedom
Throughout
the Bible, when God’s people did not seek Him diligently, they were often
enslaved and even imprisoned. Today, Satan develops many detours and snares,
and he is waiting to entangle any believer who can be is overtaken with the
cares and attractions of the world.
Are you
ready for freedom instead of bondage? Deliverance rather than slavery? Joy to
replace tears?
Move into an
unfettered, deeper dimension of faith and service by developing a stronger
relationship with Him: “Now the Lord is the Spirit:
and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17).
7. Your Heavenly Reward
As we move
into a deeper desire for calling and service before King Jesus, we learn to “set our affection on things above” (Colossians 3:2).
Jesus
extending his hand to Paul tells us: “Fight the
good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called,
and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses…. Laying up in store
for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay
hold on eternal life” (1 Timothy 6:12, 19).
What a great
moment it is to be alive! The great prophecies of Scripture are rapidly being
fulfilled and Jesus is coming back soon: “The end
of all things is at hand: be ye therefore be sober (serious) and watch unto
your prayer” (1 Peter 4:7). We must be diligent in everything we do for
Him.
Can you
imagine how wonderful heaven will be? As a believer who seeks to serve God in a
deeper dimension, you are getting ready to spend forever and ever with Him.
May He bless
you as you seek to serve Him in a deeper dimension. That is my prayer for you.
A Deeper Dimension in Every Area of
Life
Scripture
tells us, “Beloved, I wish above all things that
thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 2).
God desires
for you to be blessed spiritually, of course, and He also desires that you be
blessed powerfully in every other area of life, including your finances.
How does this happen?
We
are promised, “He which soweth sparingly shall reap also
sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully” (2
Corinthians 9:6).
Today,
as you increasingly yield to Him, I am asking you to also move up to a higher
level in your seed-faith giving.
God
wants to bless you financially today and tomorrow, but He also promises to
bring prosperity for you to pass it on to your heirs: “A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children:
and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just” (Proverbs 13:22).
It’s
time to claim in faith what our Lord has promised to you and your loved ones.
Just
remember that you cannot give little and receive much. Every farmer and
gardener knows this. The power is in the seed, and the amount of seed
determines the results.
Extravagant
giving produces an extravagant harvest. So step out in faith and plant a
significant seed—whatever amount God places on your heart as you prayerfully
consider how much to give.
Plant
your seed-gift today into the fertile soil of this worldwide ministry as we
work together to take the life-saving and miracle-working Gospel of Jesus
Christ to hurting and desperate souls around the world.
Claim
the promises that are available to you.
Sow
your seed-gift now. Take a step of faith that you’ve never taken before so you
can witness a miracle of property and houses that you’ve never experienced
before!
Don’t
miss this amazing season for you and for your family. Do it now!
Expecting
God’s unprecedented harvest in your life,
