He Speaks Quietly
Formerly GOD Spoke Loudly; Now He Speaks Quietly

Kings 19:12 (King James Version) And after the earthquake a fire; but the
LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
In Biblical
times it was as if God spoke in loud ways (e.g. earthquakes, fires, etc.), but
in the days of the Kingdom of God He speaks by His Holy Spirit in “a gentle
blowing” or “a still small Voice.”
As Zephaniah prophesied, He is “quiet in His Love”
toward us:
Zephaniah
3:17
“The LORD
your God is in your midst,
A victorious warrior.
He will exult over you with joy,
He will be quiet in His Love,
He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.
Listen for the GOD who speaks in quietness.
