The Beauty of Holiness!

The Beauty of Holiness!
When we give unto the LORD the glory due to His Name and worship Him in the beauty of holiness, the Voice of the LORD comes in our direction.
Psalm 29:1-2 says, A Psalm of David. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto His Name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
The next line declares:
The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.
The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty (vv. 3-4)

With worship comes His audible Voice.
He is the GOD of Glory!
His Voice is All-Powerful!
His Voice is full of Majesty!

As true worshippers, not only does His Voice come in our direction, His Voice makes way on our behalf and drives away our enemies.
The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn (vv.5-6)

In the midst of worship, His Voice solves the mysteries and enigmas of our lives.
The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire (Psa. 29:7)
The genuine praise of GOD in the atmosphere of His presence builds strength in His people; worshipping Him in Spirit and in Truth develops the saints to become ‘mighty ones’. That’s why the psalmist wrote: “Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength” (Psa. 29:1)

Our strength and glory comes from worshipping ‘the One and Only True GOD’.

The Biblical record of the victory over Moab and Ammon in Second Chronicles 20 is one clear demonstration of His royal majesty and the beauty of His Holiness.
Verse 21 of II Chronicles 20 says:
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for His mercy endureth for ever.
Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness!
He is “the Beauty of Holiness!”
