Testing the
Spirits
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits
whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the
world.
Hereby know ye The Spirit of God: Every spirit that
confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ
is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist,
whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the
world.
I John 4:1-3 KJV
It is the responsibility of every true believer today, to
test ‘all spirits’.
Right from ‘the First Century’, “the spirit of the
antichrist” had already been in the world.
Today, “the spirit
of the antichrist” is already manifested in a man—“the man of sin”. Even ‘the
ministry of his false prophet’ is operational in a man also, in the world right
now, just as GOD’s prophetic Word reveals in the Bible.
In these last days, false prophecies are released by “the
spirit of the antichrist” into the world. But, true prophets are given the
ability by GOD Almighty, to judge false prophecies.
How are they judged?
By “The Spirit of
Prophecy”.
It is “The Spirit
of Prophecy” that executes judgment against “the spirit of the antichrist”.
“The Spirit of Prophecy” cancels and nullifies false
prophecy when GOD’s people pray against it. The Church must
now set a prayer-watch against ‘the spirit of false prophecy’ (the spirit of
error), and against ‘the ministry of false prophecy’ which have been
released by satan the dragon into the world.
Revelation 19:10 declares, “…the testimony of
Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy”.
“The
Spirit of Prophecy” is living and active—for, Jesus Christ rose from the dead.
Therefore, “The Spirit of Prophecy” bears “the Testimony
of Jesus”.
“The
Spirit of Prophecy” is The
Spirit of GOD.
Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in
the flesh is of GOD (see 1 John 4:2).
“The
Testimony of Jesus” is documented for us in First John 5:11
And this is the record, that God hath given to us
eternal life, and this life is in His Son (KJV).
“The spirit of the
antichrist” cannot bear this testimony. It does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh—because
it is not of GOD (see I John 4:3).
Everyone born of GOD have “the Testimony of Jesus”.
“The
Spirit of Prophecy” validates true prophecy and executes
judgment against “the spirit of the antichrist”.
Every true believer is born of GOD and have overcome.
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:
because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.
