MYSTERY OF ANGELS
Part 2
Multitudes of angels are flying everywhere in Heaven
and these angels of Heaven fly throughout the earth’s atmosphere as well. They
watch over GOD’s people.
Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering
thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled
the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they sang:
"Worthy is The Lamb, Who was slain,
to receive Power and Wealth and Wisdom and Strength
and Honor and Glory and Praise!"
Rev.
5:11-12 NIV
The figure of “many
angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten
thousand” was recorded in Scripture as the biblical numbering
of the angels.
If this logical and mathematical calculation written
below is correct, then, here we have about 98,999,970,300,000,000,000
What is the sum of this?
Ninety-eight quintillion, nine-hundred and
ninety-nine quadrillion, nine-hundred and seventy trillion and three-hundred billion.
Psalm 68:17 states it like this:
The chariots of God are tens of thousands
and thousands of thousands;
The Lord has come from Sinai into His sanctuary.
NIV
Surrounded by unnumbered chariots, The Lord moves on from Mount
Sinai and comes to His holy temple high upon Mount Zion.
TLB
The chariots of God are myriads, thousands upon thousands;
The Lord is among them as at Sinai, in Holiness.
NASU
God’s chariots are myriads, repeated thousands;
Adonai is among them as in Sinai, in Holiness.
CJB
For sure, the numbering of the multitude of the
angels is by far greater than the number of humans who ever lived.
The word “myriad” means an indefinitely great number;
innumerable; too numerous to count; very diverse; large number; countless; numberless;
uncountable; unnumbered, and untold.
The author of the book of Hebrews, also witnessed
myriads of angels in joyful assembly upon Mount Zion.
But you have come to Mount Zion, to the Heavenly Jerusalem, the
City of The Living GOD. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in
joyful assembly, to the Church of The Firstborn, whose names are written in
Heaven. You have come to GOD, The Judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous
men made perfect, to Jesus The Mediator of a New Covenant, and to the sprinkled
Blood that speaks a better Word than the blood of Abel.
