What is at stake
Today, 2,000
years after our Lord Jesus Christ said,
“Go ye
into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).
The Great
Commission continues to be a responsibility that we cannot take lightly.
Especially in light of today’s headlines—political struggles, monetary chaos,
and financial insecurities—we must seek to understand what is involved with
this sacred calling, what is at stake, and what we must do today!
This Great
Commission must be foremost in our hearts, for we have been given a great
responsibility.
From Genesis to
Revelation, the Bible is a revelation of Salvation. It talks about one Man,
Christ Jesus, who is the Savior. From the tabernacle to the temple, every
detail points to “the Lamb of God, which taketh
away the sin of the world” (John 1:29).
And just as God
Almighty planned our redemption before the foundations of the earth, He seeks
to save to the uttermost today.
Salvation is the
greatest miracle of all.
Jesus said:
“I say
unto you, that likewise joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner that repenteth”
(Luke 15:7).
Can you imagine
the joyful shouts of:
“Alleluia;
Salvation, and Glory, and Honor, and Power, unto the Lord our God” (Revelation
19:1), that will fill the Throne Room in
Heaven as a result of souls won for Jesus.
Will you stand at
your duty post to fill the room which is for the victorious saints reserved in
Heaven?
Will you stand
your ground for the glorious cause of our precious Lord Jesus Christ?
