THE BOOK OF REVELATION
Part 14
The Revelation Of Jesus Christ
~ ~ ~
HE Who holds the Seven Spirits of God and the seven stars (Rev 3:1) is the One Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come—our Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the Faithful Witness, the Firstborn from the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth (Rev 1:4-5). HE is the Amenthe Ruler of God's creation (3:14). HE rides a white horse, and with Justice He judges and makes war (Rev 19:11).
In Colossians 1:15-20 we see that HE is the Image of the invisible GOD, the Firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created: things in Heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. And He is the Head of the body, the Church; He is the Beginning and the Firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy. For GOD THE FATHER was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in Heaven, by making Peace through His blood, shed on the cross.

HE Who is Holy and True, Who holds the key of David; what He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open (Rev 3:7)—therefore, of the increase of His Government and Peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with Justice and Righteousness … (Isa 9:7).
HE has promised:
“I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven"  (Matt 16:19 NIV).

In the old times, the Lord laid the key of David upon the shoulder of Eliakim the son of Hilkiah; bestowing on him authority over Jerusalem and Judah and over the house of David (read Isa.22:20-24; 2 Chron. 36:4). This points to Christ; the One Who alone is the Root and offspring of David, and the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Rev.5:5; 22:16).
HE promised all HIS overcomers:
“Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of My God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the Name of My God and the Name of the City of My God, the New Jerusalem, which is coming down out of Heaven from My God; and I will also write on him My New Name.”
Rev 3:12 NIV

Apostle John saw this Holy City coming down out of Heaven.
I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud Voice from the Throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
Rev 21:2-4 NIV

The LORD of Glory announces, “I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown” (Rev 3:11 NIV).
“Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the Crown of Life” (Rev 2:10 NIV).

God's saints who overcome shall be clothed in white (Rev. 3:5; 19:8). The twenty four elders around God's Throne in Heaven are clothed in white and have crowns of gold on their heads (Rev 4:4). And to the slain tribulation saints, white robes will also be given (Rev.6:11).
The Great Tribulation will be a bed of suffering to all those who operate in “the spirit of Jezebel,” and all the inhabitants of the earth who worship the beast and receive its mark. Read: Rev 2:20-22; Ex. 34:15; I Kgs. 21:25; 16:31.
But, to the faithful believers who keep God’s Command to endure patiently HE said:
“Since you have kept My Command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.”
Rev 3:10 NIV

You who say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing,' Savior JESUS is inviting you to become a part of His divine Family and His Kingdom. HIS arms are equally open to the wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. HE counsels you to buy from HIM gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.

"Come, all you who are thirsty,
come to the waters;
and you who have no money,
come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
without money and without cost.

Why spend money on what is not bread,
and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to Me, and eat what is good,
and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.
Isa 55:1-2 NIV

HE says,
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My Voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me.”
Rev 3:20 NIV

“Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.”
Rev 3:3 NIV

"Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed."

Rev 16:15 NIV
