The Presentation of Jesus Christ in the 66 Books of the Bible - Part 30

In Habakkuk He is “our Watchman and Savior.”
The word salvation appears two times in Habakkuk 3:13, and once in 3:18 and is the root word from which the Name Jesus is derived.
Thou wentest forth for the salvation of Thy people, even for salvation with Thine anointed; Thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah (v.13 KJV).
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation (v.18 KJV).
These two verses were recorded in the chapter of Prophet Habakkuk's Vision of the Divine Warrior.
God’s Purpose and Promise of Salvation and Deliverance for His people through Christ—the Anointed One, ‘raced on the crest of the waves of time,’ right unto the appointed-time for the Savior.
Habakkuk 3 is a prophetic prayer of triumph.

In Matthew 1:21 the Angel of the Lord said to Joseph (the legal father of Jesus):

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His Name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins (KJV).
