Even Messiah Was Not Meant to Be Alone
Genesis
2:18 Then
the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a
helper suitable for him.”
All Scripture speaks of Messiah. Thus, we see that Jesus was not left alone,
but rather was anointed with the Holy Spirit as His helper:
Acts
10:38 “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with
the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing
all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
This is the helper of which Jesus spoke:
John
14:26 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send
in My Name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all
that I said to you.”

We are to be
conformed to the image of Messiah. Thus we are to have the Holy Spirit as our
helper, too. Because of
this, it becomes possible for us to say as Jesus did:
John
8:29
“And He who sent
Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are
pleasing to Him.”
