Our heritage, our
destiny, our authority and our identity in GOD’s Family and His Kingdom by
divine Covenant are accentuated in the Names & Remarks He has given to
us.
Sons of God
You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all
of you who were baptized into Christ
have clothed yourselves with Christ.
Galatians 3:26-27 NIV
No man is a child of God by circumcision, nor by any
observance of the Mosaic Law.
In Christ Jesus we live and grow as children and as
we receive more care, nourishment and training by The Spirit we mature into
sons of God in Christ.
The exalted position of "sons of God" is
explained in verse 27 to involve a living union with Christ brought about by
being baptized into Christ. This is the baptism of The Holy Spirit, which
according to Paul (1 Cor. 12:12-13) joins all believers to Christ.
For as many as are led by The Spirit of God,
they are the sons of God.
Rom.8:14 KJV
Because the sons of God are led by The Spirit Of
God, they cannot live according to the sinful nature (see v.13).
We have received The Spirit of Sonship
For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to
fear, but you received The Spirit of sonship. And by Him we cry, "Abba, Father."
The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.
