The Bible God’s Word

The Bible - God’s Word

All Scripture is given by Inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished
 unto all good works.
2 Tim 3:16-17 KJV

The Bible is God’s greatest gift to mankind.
Jesus Christ is The personification of The Word.
In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God,
and The Word was God.
John 1:1 KJV

He is The Eternal Life.
And we know that The Son Of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is The true God, and Eternal Life.
1 John 5:20 KJV

His Name is “THE WORD OF GOD” (Rev 19:13).
“The Word” is “The Sword Of The Spirit” (see Eph 6:17).
And The Word was made flesh… (v.14); which is “The Word Of Life” (1 John 1:1); “The Word Of Truth”; the Gospel of our Salvation (Eph 1:13). This is “The Word of our Testimony” (Rev 12:11).
The same is “The Word of His Grace”, which builds us up and gives us an inheritance among all those who are sanctified (Acts 20:32).
Of God’s own divine Will, we are begotten as firstfruits by His Word Of Truth (Jam 1:18).
The Word is spoken—Rhema, and written—Logos.  We are clean by His spoken Word (Jn 15:3), and the perfect design of God’s Salvation towards us is recorded in the written Word.

What treasure on earth could be compared to one Word from God?
There is good reason why the Bible is the bestselling book of all-time by such a wide margin. The importance of the Bible cannot be overstated. If Jesus, who is The Word, would take His stand on the written Word when challenged by the devil, how much more must we be established on that Word to take our stand and live our lives by it?
His written Word reveals the path to Life, Salvation, Transformation, Deliverance, and Healing for every soul who would seek to know God. The universe is upheld by ‘The Word of His Power,” so there is no stronger foundation that we could ever build our lives on other than His Word.
The primary accuracy of any translation is its adherence to the original text in the original languages the Bible was written in, Hebrew and Greek.
For The Word Of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Heb 4:12 KJV

The Bible is indeed God's Word with a collection of writings revealing God's Salvation Plan for man.
The Bible—a total number of 66 Books in one, inspired by The Spirit Of God, written by over 40 authors (kings, leaders, shepherds, scientists, attorneys, an army general, a government official, historians, poets, fishermen, prophets, priests, and a physician), in three continents; over a period of 1,500 years. Each one wrote as The Spirit Of God directed them, and yet each author wrote in his own style.
These men wrote as they were moved by The Holy Spirit (2 Pet. 1:21). They wrote not in words of human wisdom but in words taught by The Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 2:13).
The Bible's Authority belongs to God.

The Scriptures were written (as far as archeologists can tell) over a period of many centuries, beginning about 1450 years before the birth of Christ, and being completed by about 100 years after the birth of Christ (dating from 1500 B.C. to about 100 A.D.)
Despite being penned by different authors over 15 centuries, the Bible does not contradict itself and does not contain any errors.  The authors all present different perspectives, but they all proclaim the same One True God, and the same One Way of Salvation—Jesus Christ (John 14:6 ; Acts 4:12 ).

The invention of the printing press in 1450 made it possible to print books in large quantities. The first book printed was the Bible. Since then, the Bible has been read by more people and printed more times than any other book in history. By 1930, over one billion Bibles had been distributed by Bible societies around the world. By 1977, Bible societies alone were printing over 200 million Bibles each year, and this doesn’t include the rest of the Bible publishing companies. No one who is interested in knowing the Truth can ignore such an important book.

The Bible comprises of 39 Books in “The Old Testament” and 27 Books in “The New Testament.” It consists of 929 chapters in “The Old Testament” and 260 chapters in “The New Testament” —in total, the Bible has 1,189 chapters, and they contain about 31,240 verses (23,145 verses in The Old Testament and 7,958 verses in the New Testament).
The Bible today has been translated into over 2,000 languages and dialects, with over 6 billion copies sold!
No other book even comes close.
The Bible is truly the Bestselling Book of all times!

“The Word Of The Lord stands forever” (1 Pet 1:25), therefore, “study to shew thyself approved unto God” (2 Tim 2:15), and “be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only” (James 1:22).

How can a young man keep his way pure?
By living according to God’s Word (Ps 119:9).

Faith comes by hearing God's Word (Rom 10:17).

"...The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, The Word Of Faith, which we preach”
Rom 10:8 b KJV

For ever, O Lord, Thy Word is settled in Heaven.
Ps 119:89 KJV
