Rejoice
in the Light of Life!
The darker it gets in the world, the more we should
rejoice as believers, especially as we proclaim Jesus Christ, who said: “I am the Light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in
darkness, but shall have the Light of Life (John 8:12 KJV).
Second Peter 2:4-10 says:
“The
Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to reserve the unjust
for the Day of Judgment.
For
if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and
delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto Judgment;
And
spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of
righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
And
turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an
overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
And
delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
(For
that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his
righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
The
Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the
unjust unto the Day of Judgment to be punished:
But
chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise
government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak
evil of dignities.” (KJV)
We are redeemed by His precious Blood.
Forasmuch
as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and
gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
But
with the precious Blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without
spot:
Who
verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in
these last times for you,
Who
by Him do believe in God, that raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him Glory;
that your faith and hope might be in God.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the Coming of
the Lord.
And, rejoice in the Light of Life!
