In Acts He is “our
Lord the Light of Salvation.”
The resurrected Savior is the central theme of the
sermons and defenses in Acts. The Old Testament Scriptures, the proof of
Christ’s Resurrection, the apostolic testimony, and the convicting Power of the
Holy Spirit all bear witness that Jesus is both Lord and Christ (see Peter’s
sermons in 2:22-36 and 10:34-43).
He is “the Light of our Salvation.”
To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His Name
whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins.
Acts 10:43 KJV
Neither is there Salvation in any other: for there is none other
name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Acts 4:12 KJV
