The Presentation of Jesus Christ in the 66 Books of the Bible - Part 46

In Colossians He is “the Fullness of the GodHead Bodily.”
This singularly Christological book is centered on the cosmic Christ—“the Head of all principality and power.”
For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
And ye are complete in Him, which is the Head of all principality and power (2:9-10 KJV).
Christ is the fullness of the Deity—He is the Divine Eternal God-Almighty. He is the fullness of all that God is. It is in union with Him that we are complete. In Him is the complete expression of the divine nature.
In Christ Jesus everyone born of God is filled with the Godhead—and, the Godhead is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
When Jesus came to the Earth as “the Savior of the world,” He was “the Fullness of the Godhead bodily”—which means He was the presentation of the Divine Trinity in bodily form—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
He is the Head over all angelic being, principality, and power.
Chapter 1 verses 16 and 17 say:
For by Him were all things created, that are in Heaven, and that are in Earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him:
And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist (KJV)
This passage reveals that He is the Lord of Creation.

He is ‘the Author of reconciliation,’ for by the shedding of His precious Blood He made Peace, and reconciled us back to God.
And, having made Peace through the Blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in Earth, or things in Heaven.
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He reconciled
In the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight (Col 1:20-22 KJV).

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross;
And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it (2:13-15 KJV).

In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me" (KJV).
Why is He the only Way to the Father?
Because He is “the Fullness of the Godhead bodily.”

Why was He able to promise His disciples, in John 16:7 that He would send the Holy Spirit—the Comforter, as He later accomplished this?
Because He is “the Fullness of the Godhead bodily.”

He is the embodiment of full deity.
He is the Image of the invisible God, the Firstborn over all creation (Col 1:15 NIV).
For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him… (v.19 NIV).
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form (2:9 NIV).
He is the Head of the Church.
And He is the Head of the body, the Church: Who is the Beginning, the Firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence (1:18 KJV).

He is the basis for the believer’s hope (Col. 1:5, 23)—Christ in us is the Hope of Glory (v.27).
