Preparation for The Holy
Communion
The Holy Communion is a bond uniting believers with
each other and with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Instituted by Him during His “Last Supper” (Mark
14:22-25, Matt. 26:26-29, and Luke 22:13-20) and observed by New Testament
Christians (1 Corinthians 11).
Elements traditionally include: unleavened bread and
the cup (“fruit of the vine”), and preparation should include a time of
self-examination and confession before partaking.
The moment we share together with the Lord in
Communion is powerful and anointed!
