THE BOOK OF REVELATION
Part 32
Three Angels’ Announcements
~ ~ ~
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the Everlasting Gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the Earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His Judgment is come: and worship Him that made Heaven, and Earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same shall drink of the wine of the Wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the Presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the Commandments of God, and the Faith of Jesus.
Rev 14:6-12 KJV

First Angel’s Announcement (verses 6 and 7):
This angel apparently flies where everyone in the Earth can hear him, and speaks to the inhabitants of the Earth, saying “to fear God and serve Him alone.”
This is significant because it is an expression of God’s Mercy. The Judgment is coming, but just as He wouldn’t let Sodom and Gomorrah fall without first hearing a ‘preacher of righteousness’ named Lot, He won’t let Judgment fall on the world without a last chance to hear the Everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ and repent of their sins.

Second Angel’s Announcement (verses 8):
Babylon will be the headquarters city of “the Antichrist” until he enters Jerusalem.
But Babylon will only be his capital city for a short time before it falls.
This angel pronounces the coming Judgment of Babylon, which is yet to happen.

Third Angel’s Announcement (verses 9-11):
This again is significant, because this is not a man standing on the street corner preaching. This is an angel, presumably flying in mid-heaven as the one before, preaching that receiving “the mark of the beast” will lead to the Wrath of God.
The people of Earth will have had two specific warnings to not worship the beast, and that Babylon will fall.
At this time, they will be told by angels, not men [the Rapture saints had long gone before this time]—they will be told that they should refuse “the mark of the beast,” and its worship. But to worship God alone.
After this, they will have no excuse.
They will have to hear the warning that everlasting fire and torment is reward for worshipping “the beast” and his image, and taking his mark, knowing this, they still refuse to follow God and instead take the mark.

But to the Christians that are left behind in the Earth, at such great perilous time, their “patience” and “faith” would be required.
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the Commandments of God, and the Faith of Jesus” (v.12 KJV).

After the Three Angels’ Announcements John heard the Voice of the Holy Spirit from Heaven saying:

Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them (v.13 KJV).
