Prayer And Praying Saints

Prayer And Praying Saints

Our prayers should include thanksgiving, and should be earnest. When we pray with anxiety, we end up wasting a great privilege to come into God’s divine Presence. Same is the case if the words of our prayer lack honesty.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Phil 4:6 KJV

By thanksgiving we adore Him, and express our gratitude for what He has done. Most people do not even know that through thanksgiving we receive from The Lord.

To receive new revelation and instruction from The Lord, we need soundness of mind; we need to embrace the Peace of His moment—the Peace which exceeds all human understanding and rises above all emotions of “the soulish realm.”
And the Peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Phil 4:7 KJV

Also, to access “The Holy Of Holies” we must abound in His Joy.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving
and His courts with praise;
give thanks to Him and praise His Name.
Ps 100:4 NIV

GOD inhabits the praises of His people. It became easier for David to fulfill his vows to The LORD, because he ascribed all praises to GOD even in the midst of his troubles.(See Psalm 61:8).

Vows activate faith at a high dimension. GOD heard the vows of David and gave him a special reserved blessing.
For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear Thy Name.
Ps 61:5 KJV

Lifting up of our hands unto The Lord in songs and in prayer is appropriate worship to GOD, and is Biblical (see I Timothy 2:8).

Having received The Holy Spirit, and being led and directed by Him, if you forgive the sins of anyone, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of anyone, they are retained.
And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye The Holy Ghost:
Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
John 20:22-23 KJV

The house of GOD is to be called “a house of prayer for all nations.” Through the prayer of the saints, GOD accomplishes His Salvation for the nations. Blessings and deliverance comes to the nations through the prayer of the saints.
And foreigners who bind themselves to The Lord to serve Him, to love The Name of The Lord, and to worship Him, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to My covenant —
these I will bring to My holy mountain and give them joy in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations."
Isa 56:6-7 NIV

The praying saints come into “the secret place of The Most High” through prayer and praise. No demon can access “the secret place”, and not even the devil can find it.
There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen:
The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.
Job 28:7-8 KJV

He that dwelleth in “the secret place of The Most High” shall abide under the Shadow of The Almighty (Ps 91:1 KJV).

Our Lord Jesus Christ made a very special prayer for our divine protection in the world.
My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
John 17:15 NIV

He also prayed for the unity of all true believers, as well as for the spiritual unity of each one of them with The Spirit
"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in Me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You. May they also be in Us so that the world may believe that You have sent Me.
John 17:20-22 NIV

When we are waiting on The LORD—asking Him for something, it's His time that matters, not our time. He wishes for us to enter His realm more than Him entering our realm.

His Presence and His Love casts out all fear.
