THE BOOK OF REVELATION
Part 38
The FourFold Hallelujah
~ ~ ~
After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great
multitude in Heaven shouting:
"Hallelujah!
Salvation and Glory and Power belong to our God,
for true and just are His Judgments.
He has condemned the great prostitute
who corrupted the Earth by her adulteries.
He has avenged on her the blood of His servants."
And again they shouted:
"Hallelujah!
The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever."
The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down
and worshiped God, Who was seated on the Throne. And they cried:
"Amen, Hallelujah!"
Then a Voice came from the Throne, saying:
"Praise our God,
all you His servants,
you who fear Him,
both small and great!"
Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar
of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:
"Hallelujah!
For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
Rev 19:1-6 NIV"
This passage presents the prophetic “fourfold
Hallelujah”—chants of Victory in Heaven; as Heaven rejoices over the fall of
Babylon.
Salvation and Glory and Power belong to GOD (v.1);
for He is our LORD and our GOD, and He is Worthy!
"Hallelujah!
The smoke from Babylon goes up for ever and
ever" (v.3).
It will never be
quenched!
The twenty-four
elders dressed in white and having crowns of gold on their heads, together with
the glorified saints, and the angels worship GOD Who is seated on the Throne.
This time of the “fourfold Hallelujah” takes place
in “The Seventh Trumpet” when "the
kingdom of this world becomes the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ.
The seventh angel sounded
his trumpet, and there were loud voices in Heaven, which said:
"The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our
Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign for ever and ever."
And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones
before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying:
"We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
the One Who is and Who was,
because You have taken Your great Power
and have begun to reign.
The nations were angry;
and Your Wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,
and for rewarding your servants the prophets
and your saints and those who reverence Your Name,
both small and great —
and for destroying those who destroy the Earth."
Rev 11:15-18 NIV
