Jesus' Blood was shed
7 Times: (one time figuratively and six times literally):
First, His sweat
dropped like blood at Gethsemane.
And being in anguish, He prayed more earnestly, and His
sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.

The second time, He
was flogged at the Praetorium of Pontius.
Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to
them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed Him over to be crucified.

The third time, He was
worn a crown of thorns.
And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it
upon His head, and a reed in His right hand: and they bowed the knee before
Him, and mocked Him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

The fourth time, His
right hand was nailed upon the cross.
“…they pierced My hands…” (Ps
22:16 KJV).
The fifth time, His
left hand was nailed upon the cross.
“…they pierced My hands…” (Ps
22:16 KJV).
The sixth time, His
feet was nailed upon the cross.
“…they pierced My hands and
My feet” (Ps 22:16 KJV).
And the seventh, He
was pierced at His side.
But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side, and
forthwith came there out blood and water.
