The
First Trumpet
Storm
of hail, fire and blood
The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and
fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the Earth. A third of the
Earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green
grass was burned up.
Rev 8:7 NIV
In the First Trumpet a storm of hail and fire
mingled with blood will be cast upon the Earth.
Trees produce oxygen and breathe in carbon dioxide.
Humans breathe in oxygen and produce carbon dioxide. Without trees to balance
out the pollution from the human lungs and to produce oxygen, the atmosphere is
doomed. Greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide will begin to build up in massive
scale, and the sun’s rays will be trapped inside the atmosphere, bouncing
around and generating heat as they meet more trapped rays. The Earth’s
temperature warms up, and green plants begin to die out, as will large life
forms that can’t handle the heat.
That will cause a domino effect as other life forms
succumb to the lack of prey food and increased heat. This is the “greenhouse effect”
you hear so much about.
