The Lie that Causes the Apostasy
The old lie spoken of in Genesis in which the
serpent promised Adam and Eve, "ye
shall be as gods"—is the lie prophesied in II Thessalonians 2 to come
to fullness in these last days, the lie in which “the whole world” (all not
belonging to the Lamb) will believe and be damned.
It is ‘the lie’ which is described by the Apostle
Paul as “the Strong Delusion.” This ‘lie’ represents "the apostasy," the
falling away that was prophesied.
“The Great Apostasy” (the great rebellion) is prior
to the Lord’s Appearing at “the Rapture.”
“The rebellion” occurs first, and then “the man of
lawlessness” will be revealed.
Concerning the Coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him, we ask you, brothers,
not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter
supposed to have come from us, saying that the Day of the Lord has already
come. Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until
the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to
destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is
called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple,
proclaiming himself to be God.
2 Thess 2:1-4 NIV
“The Antichrist” will overthrow world governments;
this is why he is called “the man of lawlessness.” He is a rebel in every sense
of the word. He will destroy formal systems of civil societies.
The times when the Antichrist will appear will be
very hard for the faithful. They need to be prepared with special instructions on
how to deal with this unsettling event.
The birth of “the antichrist”—the man who will setup
“the New World Order” was marked and pronounced with 12 occult “constellation
of stars” in 1962; the 6th year of the inception of European Economic Community
(EEC). Those twelve occult constellations of stars are printed on the flag of
the European Union (EU).
Many proponents of the New World Order (NWO) are
occult, Masonic and anti-Christian. Through secretive meetings and strategic
alliances these Masonic institutions influence world politics, religion and
economies.
This is a conspiracy so monstrous that people don't
believe it exists.
13 years after the 9/11 attack, the World Trade Center
is re-opening for business and has been renamed “One World Trade Center.” Standing at 541 meters with 104 floors, it
is officially America’s tallest building and cost $3.9 billion to put the
skyscraper together.
The old twin Towers went down on September 11, 2001
after it was hit by two planes hijacked by terrorist group, Al-Qaeda.
Al-Qaeda was established by Osama bin Laden in 1989
and was based in Afghanistan until driven out by U.S. and coalition forces in
2001.
Hitler was a demon from hell in human-flesh—and so is
“the Antichrist.”
“The man of lawlessness” will be revealed at the
proper time (II Thess. 2:6).
Because of the unbelief of men and their
rebelliousness against God, He will send them a “Strong Delusion” so that they
will believe “the lie.”
And with all
deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received
not the love of the Truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God
shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be
damned who believed not the Truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2 Thess 2:10-12 KJV
‘Strong delusion’ is false belief: a persistent
false belief held in the face of strong contradictory evidence. It is the
opposite of ‘Reality.’
The secret power of lawlessness is already at work
as God’s Word reveals (v.7). As hallucination is usually a symptom of a
psychiatric condition, even so shall ‘a powerful delusion’ fantasize those who
are perishing, so that they will believe “the lie.”
But, to those who walk in the Light of Truth, the
works of “the lawless one” will show to be wrong.
“The
lie” is “the lawless one” who will be revealed,
whom will be overthrown by the Breath of GOD—the Holy Spirit, and destroyed by
the Splendor of Christ’s Coming (v.8).
