The
Seventh Trumpet
Christ’s
Reign Foreseen
The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices
in Heaven, which said:
"The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our
Lord and of His Christ, and He will Reign for ever and ever."
And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones
before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying:
"We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
the One Who is and Who was,
because You have taken Your great Power
and have begun to reign.
The nations were angry;
and Your Wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,
and for rewarding Your servants the prophets
and Your saints and those who reverence Your Name,
both small and great —
and for destroying those who destroy the Earth."
Then God's Temple in Heaven was opened, and within His Temple
was seen the Ark of His Covenant. And there came flashes of lightning,
rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a great hailstorm.
Rev 11:15-19 NIV
The first woe was "the locusts from the
bottomless pit."
The second woe was in the days of the prophesying of
the two prophets sent to Israel.
After the second woe is past, the third woe comes
quickly!
The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh
quickly (Rev 11:14 KJV).
The third woe is not categorically mentioned in the
rest chapters of the book of Revelation, but “the Seven Bowls of Judgment” by
seven angels will serve as the third woe (read chapters 15 and 16). In them the
Wrath of God is complete. After the seventh angel pours out his bowl, aloud
Voice from Heaven will declare: “It is done!” (See 16:17).
When the Seventh Trumpet is sounded; then, the kingdoms
of this world become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of His Christ— then, will be
a great divine proclamation of the advancement of God’s Kingdom by the hosts of
Heaven.
The Lord God Omnipotent—the highest Sovereignty and
the greatest Power are His and His Christ shall begin to Reign on the Earth.
The kingdoms, dominion, sovereignty, and rule of
this world shall become an extension of God's Kingdom and possession in the
Millennial Reign of Christ [the Messiah]—He will rule over the nations.
Prophet Daniel also prophesied:
Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of the kingdoms under
the whole heaven will be handed over to the saints, the people of the Most
High. His Kingdom will be an everlasting Kingdom, and all rulers will worship
and obey Him.'
Dan 7:27 NIV
The heathen (the nations) raged, but God's Wrath
(retribution, indignation) shall come upon them. His Wrath will
soon begin.
The dead will be judged and God's prophets and His
saints shall be rewarded — all those who fear Him and revere His Name, both low
and high and small and great.
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
The kings of the Earth set themselves, and the rulers take
counsel together, against the Lord, and against His Anointed, saying,
Let us break Their bands asunder, and cast away Their cords from
us.
He that sitteth in the Heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have
them in derision.
Then shall He speak unto them in His Wrath, and vex them in His
sore displeasure.
Yet have I set My King upon My holy hill of Zion.
I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto Me, Thou art
My Son; this day have I begotten Thee.
Ask of Me, and I shall give Thee the heathen for Thine
inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the Earth for Thy possession.
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; Thou shalt dash them in
pieces like a potter's vessel.
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of
the Earth.
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the way, when
His Wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in
Him.
Psalm 2 KJV
What fools the nations are to rage against the Lord! How strange
that men should try to outwit God! For a
summit conference of the nations has been called to plot against the Lord and His
Messiah, Christ the King.
"Come, let us break
His chains," they say, "and free ourselves from all this slavery to
God."
But God in Heaven merely laughs! He is amused by all their puny
plans. And then in fierce fury He rebukes them and fills them with fear.
For the Lord declares, "This is the King of My choice, and
I have enthroned Him in Jerusalem, My holy City."
His chosen One replies, "I will reveal the everlasting Purposes
of God, for the Lord has said to Me, 'You are My Son. This is Your Coronation
Day. Today I am giving You Your Glory.'"
"Only ask and I will give You all the nations of the world. Rule
them with an iron rod; smash them like clay pots!"
O kings and rulers of the Earth, listen while there is time. Serve
the Lord with reverent fear; rejoice with trembling. Fall down before His Son
and kiss His feet before His anger is roused and you perish. I am warning
you-His Wrath will soon begin. But oh, the joys of those who put their trust in
Him!
