The Perfect Sacrifice
And The Ultimate Victory
The Woman-Israel
A great and wondrous
sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her
feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in
pain as
she was about to give birth.
Rev 12:1-2 NIV
“The Woman” clothed with the sun, is having put on
CHRIST—“The Sun of Righteousness.” She is the Israel that is by faith—“the
Elect” that will be protected, secured and nurtured for by GOD in the wilderness,
away from the reach of the dragon. The woman will be snatched up to GOD at “The
Second Coming Of Christ.”
The Red Dragon-satan
Then another sign
appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and
seven crowns on his heads. His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky
and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was
about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.
Rev 12:3-4 NIV
Here we see that early prophecy eminently fulfilled
in which GOD said He would put enmity between “the seed of the woman” and “the
seed of the serpent,” in Genesis 3:15.
In these latter
days, the antichrist is “the seed of the serpent”, but Jesus Christ—“The Seed
Of The Woman” will destroy the beast and his armies with the splendor of His
Coming.
The Male Child-Christ
She gave birth to a
son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her
child was snatched up to God and to his throne. The woman fled into the desert
to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260
days.
Rev 12:5-6 NIV
Care was taken of “the Woman” as well as of “the
Child.”
Through the message from “The Angel Of The LORD” to ‘obedient
Joseph,’ in a dream, “GOD’s divine Child” was taken in flight to Egypt “away
from the reach of the serpent” (read Matt.2:13-15). This fulfilled a prophecy by prophet Hosea:
"When Israel was
a child, I loved him,
and out of Egypt I
called My Son.
Hos. 11:1 NIV
“The Woman” fled into the wilderness, a place
prepared both for her safety and for her nourishment.
At this time in the near future, the nation of
Israel will be in an obscure state, dispersed; and this will prove GOD’s divine
Security and Providence for “the Elect” who are also sealed for Redemption.
The Arch-Angel, Michael
And there was war in
heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and
his angels fought back. But he was not
strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled
down — that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole
world astray.
He was hurled to the
earth, and his angels with him.
Rev 12:7-9 NIV
Arch-Angel Michael is the chief angel of Heavenly
warfare, and He serves as prince and guardian over the destiny of the nation of
Israel (read Dan. 10:10-21; 12:1). When Michael disputes with satan, he rebukes
him in The Name Of The LORD (see Jude 9).
Revelation 12 speaks of "Michael and his
angels" who waged war against satan and his fallen angels—casting them out
of “the second heaven” to prepare the way for:
the Salvation of our GOD,
the Power and the Kingdom of our GOD,
and the Authority of His Christ (see Rev
12:7-10).
Also at the beginning of time, when Lucifer rebelled
against GOD, war broke out in Heaven “Michael and his angels” fought against
the dragon and his army. The dragon with his angels were no match for
Arch-Angel Michael and his angels, and so they were driven out of the Heaven.
Note properly that in the first case; which was at
the beginning of time; Lucifer and his fallen angels were cast out of Heaven,
and so sometime after that, he showed up in the garden as “the serpent” and
deceived Eve and Adam.
But in the second case; which was in the year 2012,
the dragon and his demons in the air were hurled out of “the second heaven” to
prepare the way for The LORD’s soon appearing at “the Rapture.”
Now, let me shock you a bit: yet once again for all
time, according to the unfailing prophecy of GOD’s WORD, satan the dragon and
his demons will be cast out of the heavenlies, like stars off the sky—occurring
after the time of “the Great Tribulation.” Here is exactly how our Lord Jesus
prophesied it:
"Immediately
after the distress of those days
"'the sun will be
darkened,
and the moon will not
give its light;
the stars will fall
from the sky,
and the heavenly
bodies will be shaken.'
Matt 24:29 NIV
After “the Rapture” season has past, the devil with
his demons invades the sky—the firmament and space which at such time would be
vague. But, “immediately after the distress of those days” on the earth,
Arch-Angel Michael and his angels advances for war against satan and his hordes
of darkness, to shake them out of the heavenlies to prepare the way for
Christ’s Second Coming.
"At that time the
sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth
will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with
power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call,
and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens
to the other.
Matt 24:30-31 NIV
Our
Redemption
How the Victory was gained. The servants of GOD
overcame satan by the Blood of The Lamb, as the meritorious cause. CHRIST by
dying on the cross destroyed ‘him that hath the power of death,’ that is, the
devil.
By the word of testimony of the saints unto JESUS,
as the great instrument of victory; the Sword of The Spirit, which is The WORD
OF GOD—by a resolute powerful preaching of the everlasting Gospel, which is
mighty, through GOD, to pull down strongholds—and by their courage and patience
in sufferings; they loved not their lives unto the death, when the love of life
stood in competition with their loyalty to CHRIST; they could lay them down in
CHRIST's cause; their love to their own lives was overcome by stronger
affections of another nature; and this their courage and zeal helped to
confound their adversary, to convince many of the spectators, to confirm the
souls of the faithful, and so contributed greatly to this Victory.
The strength of the Church lies in The LORD JESUS
CHRIST—The Captain Of our Salvation. And He is The Messiah Who will redeem the
Israel that is by faith.
