The Reality Of Prayer

The Reality Of Prayer
The secret of answered prayer is sincerity and perseverance. Persistence is proof of faithfulness. The LORD visits those who wait on Him. When we wait on The LORD He renews our mind and renews our strength.
Renewal of spiritual strength means; increase in discernment, with the ability to soar unto higher altitudes, and increase in speed, in order to set the captives free, and reclaim lost territories.

All the children of GOD should work steadfastly and persistently toward praying in The Holy Ghost. The seed of acceptable devotion must come from Heaven's storehouse. Only the prayer which comes from GOD can go to GOD.
But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.
Jude 20 NIV

We are called to the ministry of intercessory. It is the Church's high privilege to pray and intercede on behalf of the nations. The door of Grace is always open for her petitions, and they never return empty-handed. The veil was rent for her, the Blood was sprinkled upon the altar for her, and GOD constantly invites her to ask what she wills.

Our Lord Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up:
Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.'
"For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, 'Even though I don't fear God or care about men, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!'"
And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?"
Luke 18:1-8 NIV

The Church is the bride being prepared to meet her King. The Church always has need for prayer.
There are lambs to be prayed for, that they may be carried in Christ's bosom; the strong, lest they grow presumptuous; and the weak, lest they become despairing.

Pray for the sick and the poor, the afflicted and the wavering. Pray for those who seek the conversion of relatives, pray for the reclaiming of back-sliders, and the salvation of the depraved.

Prayer keeps the light of the Gospel burning in the midst of GOD’s people. In a world full of idols, cruelties, devilries, if the Church does not pray, how can she accomplish the Great Commission delegated to her by her loving LORD?

Let the Church be constant in supplication, let every believer cast his mite of prayer into the eternal treasury.
