The Feast Of Trumpets

“The Feast Of Trumpets”

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
Lev 23:24 KJV

GOD commanded the people of Israel through His prophet Moses, that on the first day of the seventh month they were to have a Sabbath rest (a day of rest) a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts. It is a day of holy convocation announced with blasts on the shofar.
On this day, they were to do no regular work, but present an offering made to The LORD ‘by fire'.

The institution of “The Feast Of Trumpets”, on the 1st day of the 7th month (v. 24, 25). That which was now the 7th month had been reckoned the 1st month, and “the Year of Jubilee” was still to begin with this month (see chapter. 25:8), so that this was the Jewish New Year.
The people of Israel blew the trumpet every new moon (see Psa 81:3), but in the new moon of the seventh month it was to be done with more than ordinary solemnity; for they began to blow at sun-rise and continued till sun-set.

The Jews today, perform "The Feast Of Trumpets" either in September or October.

“The Feast Of Trumpets” points to “the Rapture”.

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 Cor 15:51-52 KJV

"The Rapture" is a mystery; a secret truth. It is an event decreed by the hidden Purpose and Counsel of GOD. Paul discovered it; and he recorded that we will not all sleep (die naturally), but we shall all be changed (transformed) in a flash (a moment)—in the twinkling of an eye, at ‘the last trumpet’ —we shall all be given new bodies!

There will be a trumpet call, and at the sound of the last trumpet call, all that have fallen asleep in Christ, right from Adam, will be raised imperishable (free and immune from decay).  We shall be raised to live forever with Christ Jesus.

Later, in the future, long after “the Rapture”, and after “The Second Coming Of Christ” will be “The Wedding Supper Of The Lamb”, when Jesus Christ weds His Bride [the Church that is made perfect] (as we read in Revelation 19:7).
