The Feast Of FirstFruits

“The Feast Of FirstFruits”

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest
Lev 23:10 KJV

The priest is to receive the sheaf (or omer) of firstfruits, and wave it before The LORD so it will be accepted on behalf of the one who brings it. This was to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.
The offering described in this passage was made on the sixteenth of the first month (Abib or Nisan), the day following the first Passover Sabbath, which was on the fifteenth (corresponding today, to the beginning of April).

Christ is risen from the dead— and He is “The FirstFruits” of those who have fallen asleep in Him.
But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
1 Cor 15:20 NIV

The fulfillment of divine Purpose of “The Feast Of FirstFruits” is “The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ.”
It was through a man that death came into the world; it is also ‘through a man’—“The Son of Man” that the resurrection of the dead has come. Because of the union of nature in Adam all people die, so also by virtue of our union of nature with Christ, shall we be raised on “the resurrection morning.”
At “the Resurrection” each one of us will be raised in his own rank and turn—Christ Jesus is “The FirstFruits” raised from the dead, then all those who belong to Him will be resurrected at His appearing.
