Measure of GOD s Gift

Measure of GOD s Gift

GOD gives us things by measures. He gives us gifts in measures. He gives attributes, substances, and things in measures.
When a man is born again; he becomes a new creation, then, he receives from GOD, supernatural gifts and ability, in measure, according to how The Spirit Of GOD determines it by His perfect Will.
There are four specific verses in the entire Scriptures which speak of the measures of virtues and attributes GOD has given to every true believer.

The first speaks of judging others:
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Matt 7:2 KJV

Jesus is here directing us how to conduct ourselves in reference to the faults of others.
His expression in this verse is as well a reproof to the scribes and Pharisees, who were very rigid, magisterial and supercilious, in condemning others, as those commonly are, that are proud and conceited in justifying themselves.
GOD warns us in saying: Judge not that ye be not judged!
We must rather judge ourselves, and judge our own acts, but we must not judge our brother.
We must not sit in the judgment-seat, to make our word a law to everyone. We must not judge our brother, that is, we must not speak evil of him, so it is explained in James 4:11.
In the same way we judge others, so we are judged; with same measure. Our criticism and judgment of others are measured, in order that we may be judged in accordance.
‘The spirit of criticism’ attracts “the spirit of poverty,” but, the way to true Freedom is a “highway.”

In Our LORD’s Prayer is the line which says:
“…and forgive us our sins, just as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us” (Matt. 6:12 TLB).
If we forgive others' trespasses against us, God will forgive our trespasses against Him.

The second one is about what we hear or listen to
And He said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear
shall more be given.
Mark 4:24 KJV
The LORD warns us that, we must consider carefully what we hear—and that with what measure we use; it will be measured to us.
Now, this means; the measure of time we spend listening to, or paying attention to somebody or something—as well as thought and study we give to what we hear will be the measure of virtue, knowledge, insight and  clarity that we get from The LORD.

The more of GOD’s WORD that we hear, the more the ability to understand comes. The more we listen for His Voice, the more we hear from Him, and the more we experience His divine Presence, and the more we behold Him.
The more we listen for His Voice, the more we get clarity of instruction, direction, and insight from Him. The more we read, study, and meditate on His Word, the more we understand and get revelations from “the third Heaven.”
When we begin to ponder, and not just read, GOD’s written WORD in the Scriptures, and when we pay attention to what He is saying, that’s when we begin to receive higher knowledge—that’s when we actually begin to learn ‘GOD’s Way.’

Or else, how can a man be able to do the Will of GOD without first, searching the Scriptures?
You can only be sure to put into practice what you read and hear by carefully listening and meditating—only then can you understand GOD’s Word. But real insight and understanding comes by The Spirit.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of GOD (Rom. 10:17 KJV).

Also, GOD has given to each and every one of us, a “measure of faith.”
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man
the measure of faith.
Rom 12:3 KJV

With this measure of faith, each man should think of himself with sober judgment, in accordance with “the measure of faith” God has given him. Be honest in your estimate of yourself, measuring your value by how much faith God has given you.

GOD gives a measure of faith at the moment of repentance and conversion. But, faith grows with the daily nourishment of GOD’s WORD.
Faith indeed comes alive within us when we accept Jesus Christ [Faith comes by hearing], and this faith is totally dependent on the WORD to grow [hearing by the Word of GOD]
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of GOD
Rom. 10:17 KJV

When Apostle Paul exalted the Gospel before the saints in Rome, he said to them: When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours (Romans 1:12). He said this because his aim was to be mutually encouraged by the faith of the church in Rome, as well as they were to be encourage by his faith.
GOD expects every minister of the Gospel to not have an exaggerated opinion of his own importance, but to rate his ability with sober judgment, each according to the degree of faith apportioned by GOD to him.
When spiritual things are taught with exaggerated ideas, check it!
Beware of the "social gospel" that is being preached today around the world—a social gospel deluded of “Power.”
Anything below GOD’s standard, cannot receive GOD’s backing, or providence or protection.

“The measure of faith” GOD has given us can be defined as a type of “Grace” which we have received from Him. And “Grace” is GOD’s unmerited Favor towards us.
In Romans chapter 1, verse 12, Paul was wisely letting the people to acknowledge that they had as much to give him as he had to them.

Now, here is the fourth virtue which GOD has given to every true believer in a measure: “a measure of the ability to give”
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall
 be measured to you again.
Luke 6:38 KJV

When we give, GOD Almighty blesses us in return, in accordance with the measure we use. He gives to us with the same measure, with which we give.
Good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, and poured into the lap, means; “abundance of blessings.” This too, is ‘unmerited Favor,’ which of cause is a type of “Grace.”
With Grace comes elegance and beauty. Grace produces ability.

With the measure you deal out—with the measure you use when you confer benevolence on others, it will be measured back to you.
Whatever measure you use to give-large or small-will be used to measure what is given back to you.
Therefore, give, and it shall be given to you. God, in his providence, will recompense it to you

Every child of GOD is given:

"a measure of the ability for good judgment"; "a measure of the ability to pay attention"; "a measure of faith"; and “a measure of the ability to give.”
